CUSTOMIZABLE SCOPE SYSTEM AND METHOD OF USE
A customizable eyeglass system for use in any remote situation, and which is ideal for use in third-world countries or areas where electrical power and typical machinery for manufacturing eyeglasses is lacking. The system includes a frame with receivers for the temples to connect into and lock into place. A pair of customizable lenses is connected to the front of the frame. The lenses can be rotated to dial in the correct prescription for the patient and then locked into place as well. Thus, the invention corrects near and distance vision while also correcting astigmatism. If adjustments need to be made, the patient can easily unlock the lenses, rotate them to a proper orientation for proper sight, and then lock the lenses into place again. The replacement lenses can be used with optical enhancement scopes such as telescopes, firearm scopes, and binoculars.
Golf vision discipline training system and method
An eyeglass assembly for training golfers includes first and second lenses that are opaque except at first and second viewing portions. The first viewing portion on the first lens provides a first eye of the user with a view of the target in a target region, such as the golf ball, while the second viewing portion provides a second eye of the user with a view not including the target region. An opaque feature such as a horizontal line is also provided on the second lens such that the eyes of the user co-register the horizontal line with the first viewing portion to form a focus point that must be maintained on the golf ball if head movement is to be avoided during a swing. The opaque portions at the remainder of the assembly prevent visual distractions that may undesirably move the eyes and the head during the swing.
Corrective lens adapter for firearm scope
A corrective lens adapter configured for attaching to a firearm scope that comprises a lens adapted to compensate for presbyopic vision deficiencies of a user, a cylindrical body adapted to receive and support the lens, and a shroud adapted to be placed over a proximate end of the scope. The shroud is formed of a flexible material to be operatively fit over the eye piece of the scope without marring or damaging the scope, and includes a cord for cinching the shroud closed.
