EYEWEAR ASSEMBLY HAVING AN ENERGY DISPERSION MECHANISM
An energy dispersion mechanism can be integrated into the eyewear design to incorporate a more resilient lens holding structure that can disperse the energy received during an impact and retain the lens in place. The energy dispersion mechanism comprises an impact dispersing material seated within a groove of a first frame portion, the impact dispersing material extending beyond the first frame portion to form a nose bridge which joins the first frame portion to a second frame portion; and the impact dispersing material is seated within a groove of a second frame portion. The impact dispersing material may be overmoulded on the eyewear to allow efficient manufacturing.

Eyewear with improved floatation and impact resistance
This invention relates to eyewear capable of floating above the surface in water and thus easy to spot in open bodies of water. This invention further relates to eyewear comprising an arrangement of modular pods to enable sustain floatation above the surface of water. The invention further relates to modular pods for floating eyewear that comprise an impact-resistant structure.

Wearable item, hinge arrangement for wearable item and method of manufacture
There is disclosed a wearable item. The wearable item includes at least one elongate member for supporting at least one attachable element. The elongate member is fabricated from an inner core that is surrounded by at least one outer layer. The at least one outer layer is elastic when strained by application of stress below a first elastic limit. The inner core is elastic when strained by application of stress below a second elastic limit or permanently deformed when strained by application of stress above the second elastic limit.

Enhanced armless spectacles
This invention refers to armless spectacles made from a sheet of material that includes at least a second folding line in stabilisation means. The invention proposes several methods of ensuring the second line and offering even greater rigidity. The spectacles can be converted from a non-functional state into a functional assembled state suitable for use by manipulating the configuration of at least one stabilising means in the bridge area. The spectacles have an enhanced rigidity thus increasing the overall stability of the spectacles during use. They can be presented basically flat for storage or transport and be easily manipulated to achieve the configuration for use. The spectacles may further present enhanced fastening and handling means that increase fastening stability as well as easy placement and removal of the spectacles on and from the nose, which further enhances reliability during use.

Glasses comprising biosensors
Glasses that are provided with biosensors for detecting signals and are in contact with the user's head are described, which glasses comprise a front frame (2) for supporting respective lenses (4), a pair of sides (6) articulated to the frame (2) on laterally opposing sides, and a nasal-bearing device (8), a pair of sensors (10a, 11a) being integrated in the nasal-bearing device (8) in order to make contact with the surface of the nose, a third sensor (12) being mounted in the centre of the nasal-bearing device (8) in order to make contact with the surface of the face in the zone of the bridge of the nose, and each of the sides (6) comprising a side body (6a) extending into an end side portion in which a particular sensor that makes contact with the head is integrated.
TYPE OF GLASSES WITH FLEXIBLE NOSE PADS
The utility model provides a type of glasses with flexible nose pads, which can be applied to a variety of glasses structures. The glasses comprise a left lens assembly and a right lens assembly arranged symmetrically and connected by a top bar. The glasses also contain flexible nose pads, one end of which is arranged on the left lens assembly and the other end of which is arranged on the right lens assembly. The elastic middle part of the flexible nose pad is adapted to the shape of the nose bridge. The flexible nose pad may be adjusted at will according to the shape of nose bridge of different people, suitable for most people. During a process of folding, even if the folded temples are pressed against the flexible nose pads, the flexible nose pads would not deform. Moreover, when the temples are no longer pressed onto the flexible nose pads, they would be directly restored to their original shape, making the folding process smoother. When the folded glasses need to be put into a storage box, there is no need to worry about the flexible nose pads being compressed. As a result, the internal space of the storage box is reduced, making it easy to carry.
