Nosepiece for eyeglass frames
Nosepiece for eyeglass frames, which comprises a plate, to which an appendage is fixed that is provided with a first through hole, and a cup which is provided with two second through holes and houses at its interior the appendage with the first through hole aligned with the second through holes. The nosepiece also comprises a screw having the stem inserted in the first through hole of the appendage and screwingly engaged in one of the second through holes of the cup. The screw is provided with an annular groove made on the stem, and the appendage comprises at least one retention tooth projecting into the first through hole and housed within the annular groove of the screw for the retaining of the latter.
Slip-resistant eyewear system
A slip-resistant eyewear system comprising an eyewear frame generally comprises first and second hinges coupled to the eyewear frame which are also coupled to first and second tension adjusters. First and second bows are coupled to first and second tension adjusters. The system may comprise an eyewear retainer comprising a first end configured to couple to the first bow and a second end configured to couple to a second bow such that a tension is maintained on the unitary eyewear retainer when the unitary eyewear retainer extends around a back of a head of a user.
HEAD MOUNTED DISPLAY NOSEPIECE
A headset can include at least one display; virtual reality circuitry operatively coupled to the at least one display; and a display frame that includes a nosepiece coupling and a nosepiece received in part by the nosepiece coupling, where the nosepiece includes a ball, an extension, a carrier and nose pads coupled to the carrier, where the carrier is rotatable via the ball and translatable via the extension.
Adjustable nose bridge and glasses having same
An adjustable nose bridge includes a mounting body and a nose bridge frame. The nose bridge frame includes a main body, an elastic member, and an adjusting member. Two ends of the elastic member respectively resiliently abut the main body and the mounting body. The adjusting member is telescopically coupled to the mounting body and fixes a position of the main body.
Eyewear system for lens exchange
The present disclosure relates to an eyewear assembly that is configured for fast and easy removal or exchange of lenses. The eyewear assembly comprises a connector that may be inserted into a frame front in order to hold the lenses in place, and removed from the frame front in order to release the lenses.
INTELLIGENT ACTUATED NOSE BRIDGE
Systems and method describe an actuator control system for controlling an intelligent actuated nose bridge on a pair of wearable glasses. The actuator control system receives a set of measurement data corresponding to a length of the nose bridge, generates a predicted set of measurement data for the length of the nose bridge, transmits the predicted set of measurement data to pneumatic actuators coupled to the nose bridge, captures a first set of images of the nose bridge, generates an augmented set of measurement data for the nose bridge, generates an adjusted set of measurement data based on the predicted set of measurement data and the augmented set of measurement data, and transmits the adjusted set of measurement data to the pneumatic actuators coupled to the nose bridge.
INTELLIGENT ACTUATED AND ADJUSTABLE GLASSES NOSE PAD ARMS
Systems and methods herein describe an actuator control system for controlling intelligent actuated nose pad arms of a pair of eyeglasses. The proposed systems and methods receive a set of position data corresponding to a position of nose pad arms, generate a predicted set of position data for the position of the nose pad arms, transmit the predicted set of position data to pneumatic actuators coupled to the nose pad arms, capture a set of images comprising a plurality of views of the nose pad arms, generate an augmented set of position data of the nose pad arms based on the set of images, generate an adjusted set of position data based on the predicted set of position data and the augmented set of position data, and transmit the adjusted set of position data to the pneumatic actuators coupled to the nose pad arms.
3D EYEWEAR ADAPTED FOR FACIAL GEOMETRY
Three dimensional (3D) glasses suited for wearers with varying facial geometries are disclosed. A particular embodiment includes a frame adapted to position spectrally filtering lenses at a particular distance from the eyes of the wearer. In a more particular embodiment, the 3D glasses include a means for adjusting the distance between the lenses and the eyes of the wearer. In another particular embodiment, the lenses include positive runout.
Nose Support for Eyeglasses
A nose support for a pair of eyeglasses is disclosed. The nose support comprises an elongate main body comprising a flexing section which is reversibly deflectable between an unflexed state and a flexed state at a proximal end of the main body, a contact section at a distal end of the main body and a soft resilient organic polymeric shell which encases the main body.
3D eyewear adapted for facial geometry
Three dimensional (3D) glasses suited for wearers with varying facial geometries may include a frame adapted to position spectrally filtering lenses at a particular distance from the eyes of the wearer. The 3D glasses may include a means for adjusting the distance between the lenses and the eyes of the wearer. The lenses may include positive runout.
