The main body includes a display portion capable of presenting an image to a user and is configured to be mountable on a head of the user. The nose pad is configured to be attachable to and detachable from the main body. The holding mechanism is configured to be capable of holding correction glasses between the main body and the nose pad mounted to the main body, the correction glasses facing the display portion.
Nose Piece System
A system having a nose pad assembly that is configured to removably attach to an eyeglass frame and provide support to the eyeglass frame; an attachment base part with a front side and a backside; a first attachment portion disposed on the backside of the attachment base part is configured to engage a portion of said eyeglass frame; a second attachment portion disposed on the front side of said attachment base part is configured to removably engage the nose pad assembly; and a linkage framework that is configured to removably engage the nose pad assembly with the eyeglass frame via the second attachment portion.
Eyeglasses structure
An eyeglasses structure includes a frame body, at least one lens, a first elastic contacting member and a second elastic contacting member. The frame body includes an attaching portion and a positioning portion. The at least one lens is detachably attached to the attaching portion. Each of the first and second elastic contacting members includes an engaging portion detachably engages the positioning portion, a linking rod portion connected with the matching portion, and a nose pad portion connected to the linking rod portion. The radial cross-sectional area of the linking rod portion is smaller than that of the nose pad portion connected to the linking rod portion, so as to increase the swing angle of the nose pad portion relative to the engaging portion connected with the linking rod portion.
MODULARIZED EYEWEAR SYSTEMS, APPARATUSES, AND METHODS
Systems, apparatuses, and methods are taught that provide reconfigurable components for eyewear devices. A reconfigurable component for use in an eyewear device, includes a first temple. The first temple is configured for use with the eyewear device. The first temple further includes a first engagement portion. The first temple includes a first temple insert module (TIM). The first temple insert module is releasably couplable with the first engagement portion. The reconfigurable component can include at least one of a sensor and a display. The first temple insert module further includes a first wireless communication system. The first wireless communication system is configured to communicate wirelessly with a user device. The first temple insert module further includes a processor and a first speaker. The processor is configured to receive an input from at least one of the sensor and the first wireless communication system and to generate an output. At least one of the first speaker and the display are configured to receive the output. In operation, when a user wears the eyewear device the user can hear audio broadcast from the first speaker when the first wireless communication system is in an on state and may see an image with the display.
PAIR OF SPECTACLES WITH BIO-SENSORS
A pair of spectacles having bio-sensors for detecting signals in contact with a user's head includes a front frame for lenses and a nose support device which is provided on the frame, the nose support device includes a mount made of an electrically non-conductive material and which can be removably connected to the frame, the mount having first and second nose support elements thereon, and which incorporate first and second nose sensors, formed from an electrically conductive material, capable of surface contact with corresponding laterally opposite zones of the nose. Each of the nose support elements is mounted on a respective support connected to the mount by a respective screw type element of a conductive material capable of electrical contact with the support, and each screw type element is capable of electrical contact with an electric circuit in the frame, the circuit being interposed between the frame and the mount.
WEARABLE ITEM, HINGE ARRANGEMENT FOR WEARABLE ITEM AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURE
There is disclosed a wearable item. The wearable item includes at least one elongate member for supporting at least one attachable element. The elongate member is fabricated from an inner core that is surrounded by at least one outer layer. The at least one outer layer is elastic when strained by application of stress below a first elastic limit. The inner core is elastic when strained by application of stress below a second elastic limit or permanently deformed when strained by application of stress above the second elastic limit.
MAGNETIC ATTACHMENT MECHANISM FOR EYEWEAR
Interchangeably lenses and attachment assemblies for eyewear with removable temples are described. An example attachment assembly for removably magnetically attaching an eyewear temple to a lens may include a magnetic latch having a first latch portion and a second latch portions movably (e.g., pivotably) coupled to the temple. The first and second latch portions may be configured to be positioned on opposite sides of the lens by a carrier. The first and second latch portions may be configured to magnetically attract one another in a magnetic attraction direction. The carrier may be configured to restrict movement of at least one of the first and second latch portions in a second direction opposite the magnetic attraction direction.
