Temple mounted eyeglass frames and methods of making and using the same
The invention is directed to eyeglass frames that are mounted and maintained on a user's temple area, providing added comfort and stability. The frames include a pair of rims for enclosing a pair of lenses. The rims are connected to each other via a bridge that can also include a nosepiece for resting the frames on the bridge of the user's nose. The rims further connect to a pair of arms that extend on either side of the user's head with temple pads comfortably retaining the frames on the user. In some embodiments, the frames can further include earpieces that extend behind the user's ears. Advantageously, the disclosed frames can securely and comfortably be worn by the user.
SMART GLASSES, WIRELESS EARPHONES, WEARABLE DEVICE ASSEMBLY, AND CONTROL METHOD THEREFOR
Smart glasses are provided, which can be electrically connected to wireless earphones, where wireless earphones include a second electrical connection part. The smart glasses includes a main body and glasses legs rotatably connected to the main body. One glasses leg can be rotatably switched between a first position and a second position relative to the main body. The glasses leg includes a first electrical connection part. At least one of the glasses leg and the main body includes a battery module, and the first electrical connection part is electrically connected to the battery module. If the glasses leg is located at the first position, the glasses leg is separated from the wireless earphone. If the glasses leg is located at the second position, the glasses leg is connected to the wireless earphone, and the first electrical connection part is electrically connected to the second electrical connection part.
Wearable Device Assembly
A wearable device assembly includes a wireless earphone and smart glasses. The wireless earphone includes an earphone body and a speaker part. The earphone body is rotatably connected to the speaker part. The earphone body is rotatably switched between a first position and a second position relative to the speaker part, and provided with a first electrical connection part. The smart glasses include glasses legs and a battery module. One of the glasses legs is provided with a second electrical connection part, the second electrical connection part is electrically connected to the battery module. When the earphone body is located at the first position, the earphone body is separated from a glasses leg. When the earphone body is located at the second position, the earphone body is connected to the glasses leg, and the first electrical connection part is electrically connected to the second electrical connection part.
Eyewear with touch-sensitive input surface
In one embodiment, an eyewear for a user includes an eyewear frame, electrical circuitry at least partially in the eyewear frame, and a touch sensitive input surface on the eyewear frame configured to provide an input to the electrical circuitry to perform a function via touching the touch sensitive input surface. In another embodiment, the eyewear includes a switch with at least two operational states. The operational states of the switch can be configured to be changed by sliding a finger across the touch sensitive input surface of the frame.
Magnetic bluetooth eyeglasses
Magnetic Bluetooth eyeglasses are revealed. A Bluetooth circuit module is mounted in a mounting space of a temple and provided with a built-in Bluetooth unit connected to mobile devices. The Bluetooth circuit module further includes a microphone, a speaker, a touch switch, and a power connection base. The temple is connected to a power supply device by magnetic attraction between first and second magnetic members while the power supply device is in contact with the power connection base of the Bluetooth circuit module. Thereby users are not bothered by wires while in use and the eyeglasses are more convenient to use. Moreover, the eyeglasses can still be used during charging process. Users only need to replace the power supply device with a new one already charged instead of taking off the whole eyeglasses. The eyeglasses which prevent moisture infiltration provide longer service life.
Wearable audio device with cable-through hinge
Various aspects include wearable audio devices with through-hinge wiring configurations. In particular aspects, a wearable audio device includes a hinge coupling a first section and one additional section; and a cable extending through the hinge. In various implementations, the hinge is overmolded on the cable and includes: a body defining a cavity accommodating the cable with a first opening to a pathway in the first section, and a second opening to an additional pathway in the one additional section; an insert within the body and adjacent the first opening, the insert defining a minimum radius of a bend in the cable within the cavity; a hinge mechanism contained within the body; and a cable management feature contained within the body, wherein the hinge mechanism, cable management feature and cable are all located in a common plane that is radially oriented relative to the primary axis of the hinge mechanism.
PIVOTABLE ASSEMBLY WITH ANCHORING PAD FOR EYEGLASS FRAME
The present disclosure provides a pivotable eyeglass frame and an accessory assembly for eyeglass frames. In one aspect, the pivotable eyeglass frame includes a rim capable of receiving two lenses therein, and two temple bars, each being rotatably coupled to the rim via a hinge and having an anchoring pad mechanically coupled to the temple bar via a stepper column such that the rim is pivotable about the stepper column in steps. In another aspect, the accessory assembly for eyeglass frames includes a main body with slot to receive to the temple bar of an eyeglass frame, a clamp to engage said temple bar, and an anchoring pad coupled to the main body via a stepper column such that the main body is pivotable about the stepper column in steps.
Electronic components and glasses
The present disclosure relates to electronic components and glasses comprising an electronic component. The electronic component may include a component body, a first circuit board, a second circuit board, a first microphone element, and a second microphone element. The component body may include a cavity. The first circuit board and the second circuit board may be inclined to each arranged in the cavity. The first microphone element may be arranged on a sidewall, facing the component body, of the first circuit board. The second microphone element may be arranged on a sidewall, facing the component body, of the second circuit board. A first sound conducting hole may be arranged on a sidewall, opposite to the first microphone element, of the component body. The first sound conducting hole may be configured to conduct a sound to the first microphone element. A second sound conducting hole may be arranged on the sidewall, opposite to the first microphone element, of the component body. The second sound conducting hole may be configured to conduct a sound to the second microphone element. The present disclosure may make full use of a space of the electronic component.
