GLASSES FRAME STRUCTURE
A glasses frame structure includes a chassis, a pair of temples, a pair of hinges, and a plurality of fasteners. The chassis has a pair of front rims and a pair of side rims respectivey next to the front rims. Each of the side rims of the chassis can receive a first side lens. Each temple has a rimmed portion adjacent to one of the side rims of the chassis. The rimmed portion of each of the temples can receive a second side lens. The hinges can pivotally connect the temples to the chassis. Some of the fasteners can fix the hinges and the first side lenses to the chassis, while some of the fasteners can fix the hinges and the second side lenses to the temples. With the glass frame structure, the side lenses can be installed more easily and firmly.
EYEWEAR HAVING SELECTIVELY EXPOSABLE FEATURE
Apparatuses, systems and methods for wearable devices such as eyewear are described. According to one embodiment, the wearable device includes a body, electronics, and a connector. The body is configured to hold one or more optical elements, the body being disposable between a collapsed condition and a wearable condition in which the device is wearable by a user to hold the one or more optical elements within user view. The electronics are carried by the body. The connector is configured to enable establishment of an electrical and/or electronic connection with the electronics via the connector, the connector being housed by the body such that the connector is substantially obscured from view when the body is in the wearable condition, and such that the connector is exposed for connective access when the body is in the collapsed condition.
SCREWLESS EYEGLASS FRAME
The present invention provides a screwless eyeglass frame, comprising a rim support, a temple support and a a pivoting clip. The rim support comprises a first end face and an engagement slot recessed inwardly from the first end face. The temple support comprises a second end face, two extending walls extended outwardly from two corresponding sides of the second end face, respectively, and a shaft rod provided between the two extending walls. The pivoting clip comprises a C-shaped buckle with appropriate resilience, two connecting legs connected with two ends of the C-shaped buckle, respectively, and an opening located between the two connecting legs. In this case, the C-shaped buckle is allowed for pivotally connecting to the shaft rod. The two connecting legs are tenoned into the engagement slot, and the temple support is capable of rotating with respect to the rim support around the shaft rod and the C-shaped buckle.
MOUNTING MECHANISM FOR EYEWEAR
Eyewear can be provided that comprises at least one lens, at least one earstem, and a frame with components that interconnect two or more components of the eyewear. The components can include an engagement structure of the lens and a coupling mechanism attached to the frame. The coupling mechanism can include a housing configured to receive the engagement protrusion and a lever mechanism being operative to move between open and closed positions for disengaging or engaging with the engagement protrusion.
MOISTURE-RESISTANT EYE WEAR
Embodiments may provide a first device that comprises eyeglasses, where the eyeglasses may further include a lens housing, a first temple and a second temple coupled to the lens housing, and a first and a second lens supported by the lens housing. The first device may further include a façade that covers the lens housing. The first device may further comprise an electronic component and at least one conductive path may be provided from the electronic component to the first lens having a portion that runs through the lens housing.
Spectacles-frame hinge
Connection hinge for spectacles frames of the type adapted to connect the lateral sidearm of a spectacles frame to the front part of the same spectacles frame; the connection hinge being characterized by comprising: a cup-shaped body, which is structured so as to be fixed cantilevered in a rigid manner onto the lateral side of the front part of a spectacles frame, and is provided with a central cavity of substantially cylindrical shape and with a transversal, oblong, pass-through slot or cut, which extends along the lateral side of the cup-shaped body while remaining on a lying plane locally substantially perpendicular to the reference axis of the central cavity, and penetrates in the cup-shaped body up to said central recess; a central pin which has a cylindrical shape substantially complementary to that of the central cavity of the cup-shaped body, and is inserted in axially rotatable manner in the central cavity of the cup-shaped body; and a transverse locking plug which has an end rigidly fixed to the body of the central pin, and is structured so as to protrude cantilevered from the cup-shaped body engaging in pass-through and sliding manner the pass-through slot or cut present on the lateral side of the cup-shaped body, and to be rigidly fixed or incorporated on the proximal end of the lateral sidearm of the spectacles.
Eyeglasses with Detachable Temples and Nose Grip and Method of Use
The present invention provides an eyeglasses system and method of use comprising a frame, a temple attachment assembly positioned on the ends of the frame, detachable temples having a hollow member extending therefrom for attachment to the temple attachment assembly, and a bridge nose grip assembly so as to allow a wearer to detach a temple from one side of the frame and to wear the eyeglasses comfortably, securely and without movement of the eyeglasses while reclining on the same side as the detached temple.
3D PRINTED EYEWEAR FRAME WITH INTEGRATED HINGE AND METHODS OF MANUFACTURE
Disclosed is a 3D printed eyewear frame having an integrated hinge. Advantageously, the integrated hinge assembly is a crossed spring hinge. Methods of manufacturing a 3D printed eyewear frame are likewise provided.
EYEGLASS FRAME
An eyeglass frame includes a frame, temples rotatably attached to the frame, and eyeglass lenses attached to the frame. Each of the temples includes a temple core and a temple cover and forms a clearance between the temple core and the temple cover.
Electronic Frames Comprising Electrical Conductors
In some embodiments, an electronic eyewear device is provided. The electronic eyewear device may comprise a temple, a touch sensor, a plurality of electronic components, and an enclosure partially enclosing the touch sensor and the plurality of electronic components. The enclosure may have a first opening that exposes a surface of the touch sensor. The exposed surface of the touch sensor may define a top surface of the plurality of electronics components. The enclosure may be attached to the temple.
