TORQUE CONTROL MECHANISM FOR FRAME OF HEAD MOUNTED WEARABLE DEVICE
Systems and methods for controlling an amount of torque transmitted from the temple arm portions to a front frame portion of a frame of a head mounted wearable device are provided. Hinge mechanisms that rotatably couple the temple arm portions to the front frame portion may include torque control devices that provide for torque control in response to rotation and/or deflection of the temple arm portions, to control an amount of torque that is transmitted to the front frame portion. A magnetic torque control device may include first and second arrays of magnets arranged within the hinge mechanism, and that are selectively engaged and disengaged to provide compliance in multiple axes. An elastomer torque control device may include an engagement pin that selectively engages and disengages recesses in an elastomer layer provided within the hinge mechanism to provide compliance in multiple axes.
Hinge and smart wearable device with the same
A hinge is provided. The hinge includes a first connection element, a second connection element, a first elastic element, and a second elastic element. The second connection element is connected to the first connection element. The first elastic element is connected to the first connection element. The second elastic element is connected to the first elastic element. The first elastic element drives the second elastic element to rotate relative to the second connection element. The first elastic element is rotatable between a first limit position and a second limit position. When the first elastic element is in the first limit position, the second elastic element is compressed.
Endpiece assemblies for eyeglasses
Endpiece assemblies for eyeglass frames and eyeglasses are shown and disclosed. In one embodiment, the endpiece assembly includes an elongate body having a channel partially defined by an elongate bottom wall of the elongate body. The elongate body adapted to be attached to, or formed with, a temple of the eyeglass frame. The endpiece assembly additionally includes an intermediate member having first and second end portions and a first central portion therebetween. The first central portion and the second end portion are received in the channel and the first end portion adapted to connect to a connecting bar of the frame front of the eyeglass frame. The endpiece assembly further includes a first plurality of magnets disposed within the channel.
ADJUSTABLE INCLUDED ANGLE OF ROTATABLE SHAFT ASSEMBLY AND TERMINAL DEVICE
A rotatable shaft assembly suitable for hinge of temple arm of spectacles, lockable by spring pressure at the included angle preferred for different head sizes includes a rotating shaft, a first connecting member, a second connecting member, and an elastic member. The first connecting member includes a rotating barrel and a sliding portion connected to the rotating barrel, and the rotating shaft is rotatably disposed in the rotating barrel. The second connecting member defines an accommodating groove, the sliding portion is movably accommodated in the accommodating groove. The elastic member is connected to the first connecting member and the second connecting member. A terminal device in spectacles form is also provided.
Hinged spectacle frame
Spectacle frame (1) comprising: a front piece (10); a pair of temples (20), each temple (20) extending between a first end portion (21) associated with the front piece (10) and a second end portion (22) that can be positioned on the ear of a user; a pair of hinges (30) configured to rotationally bind each temple (20) to the front piece (10), each hinge (30) comprising: a pin (40) extended along a development direction (A-A) between a first end (40a) and a second end (40b), coupling devices (50) associated with the first end portion (21) of each temple (20) and configured to engage the corresponding pin (40); a cavity (60) located in the front piece (10), the cavity (60) comprising: a first wall (70) and an opposite second wall (80) spaced along a spacing direction (B-B); and blocking devices (90) configured to engage the ends (40a, 40b) of the pins (40), the blocking devices (90) being shaped to match the first end (40a) and the second end (40b) of the pin (40) to prevent the pin (40) from making rotational movements around the development axis (A-A) and translational movements with respect to the blocking devices (90) as a result of mutual engagement between the ends (40a, 40b) of the pin (40) with the blocking devices (90); the first end (40a) and the second end (40b) of the pin (40) are wedge-shaped.
EYEGLASSES WITH SIMPLIFIED HINGE FOR TEMPLE
Eyeglasses with a simplified hinge, having a front of the eyeglasses and a pair of temples, with a cavity is defined in the front for accommodating a retention and locking element which is adapted to be engaged by a hook-shaped portion of one end of each one of the temples. The retention and locking element is adapted to be accommodated in the cavity of the front, when it is coupled to the hook-shaped end of the temple, in order to couple the temple to the front.
EYEGLASSES WITH SIMPLIFIED HINGE
Eyeglasses with simplified hinge include a pair of lenses, a pair of temples and a hinge for connection between each one of the temples and the lenses. The hinge includes an element for connecting the lens and the temple, adapted to be connected to the lens at one end and provided, at an opposite end, with a portion adapted to engage a retention and locking element. The temple is provided with a cavity adapted to accommodate and lock the retention and locking element, the retention and locking element acting as a rotation fulcrum for the temple with respect to the connecting element.
Conductive connection through eyewear hinge
An eyewear device provides for routing a flexible conductive element or conductor through a hollow interior of a hinge mechanism that connects a temple of the eyewear device to its lens-supporting frame. The conductor establishes an electrically conductive connection between electronic components housed in the frame and the temple respectively. The hinge mechanism comprises a pair of hinge pieces that defines a composite conduit through the hinge mechanism, the conduit and hence the conductor routed through the passage being hidden or obscured from external view in any operational position of the hinge mechanism.
BONE CONDUCTIVE SOUND GENERATING DEVICE
A bone conductive sound generating device is provided and includes a sound generating mechanism and a fixing mechanism. The fixing mechanism is configured to act on the sound generating mechanism, such that the sound generating mechanism adheres to and fit with a back of an auricle of a user at least when the sound generating mechanism is in use. Accordingly, the present application may improve the sound quality of the bone conductive sound generating device, improving listening experience for the user.
Multiply adjustable eyeglass frames
Eyeglass frames that are both adjustable fore and aft on each side, and that allow each lens to be raised or lowered slightly so that the glasses fit well with both lenses at the same vertical level. Embodiments of the present invention includes a small ratchet and hinge on each arm that allows the forward part of the frame to rotate slightly up or down. In addition, in other embodiments, both legs can have a sliding length adjustment that allows the leg to fit snugly behind the ear on each side with the lens in the correct fore and aft position. Some embodiments of the present invention have both features present, while other embodiments have only one or the other feature.
