TEMPLE ASSEMBLY FOR SPECTACLES AND SPECTACLES
A temple assembly for a pair of spectacles, including a spectacle temple body, a guide member, a first temple core, a second temple core, a first pivot; and a second pivot; the second temple core is elastically connected with the spectacle temple body, the guide member is sleeved on a periphery of the first temple core, and the first temple core includes a first connecting end and a second connecting end disposed opposite to each other, the second connecting end is pivotally connected to the second temple core via the second pivot, the first connecting end is pivotally connected to a pile head of a rim or an end hinge of a spectacle temple via the first pivot; the first pivot and the second pivot are disposed perpendicular to each other; and the guide member is elastically abutted the spectacle temple body.
MULTIPLE DEGREE OF FREEDOM HINGE SYSTEMS AND EYEWEAR DEVICES COMPRISING SUCH HINGE SYSTEMS
A multiple degree of freedom hinge system is provided, which is particularly well adapted for eyewear, such as spatial computing headsets. In the context of such spatial computing headsets having an optics assembly supported by opposing temple arms, the hinge system provides protection against over-extension of the temple arms or extreme deflections that may otherwise arise from undesirable torsional loading of the temple arms. The hinge systems also allow the temple arms to splay outwardly to enable proper fit and enhanced user comfort.
Foldable reading glasses
Folding reading glasses of the type in which the temples fold around the lenses, in which the temples are supported and removably attached to the lenses while folded, providing greater integral strength to the entire assembly and resisting breakage. Several methods for attachment of the temples to the lenses are disclosed, including an interference fitting member in the temple that grasps the lens frame in the vicinity of the lens, and multiple embodiments of an interference fitting member in the temple that grasps a mating member on the outer edge of the lens frame. Combinations of these embodiments are also possible.
Spectacles with dual salon and traditional configurations
The multiuse eyeglasses include a frame that holds two lenses and arms that extend from the frame. The arms include a first axis of rotation that is generally perpendicular to the arms and a second axis of rotation that is orthogonal to the first axis of rotation and allows the arms to be rotated downwards relative to the frame.
COMFORT FIT SLIP-RESISTANT EYEWEAR SYSTEM
An anti-slip eyewear system comprising a nosepiece configured to couple to a bridge of an eyewear frame, the nosepiece comprising a core comprised of a first material and an outer layer at least partially surrounding or overlapping the core and comprised of a second material, the second material having a lower durometer than the first material, wherein the second material creates a plurality of Schallamach waves on an outer surface of the nosepiece when the outer layer of the nosepiece is in contact with at least a portion of a face of a user. The first material may have a durometer greater than about Shore 40A on the Shore A hardness scale and the second material may have a durometer less than about Shore 40A on the Shore A hardness scale.
EYEWEAR SYSTEM HAVING AN ADJUSTABLE DECLINATION ANGLE
An eyewear system comprising an eyewear frame comprising a first side bow component and a second side bow component, an auxiliary frame comprising an auxiliary top bar, an auxiliary first side bow component and an auxiliary second side bar component, the auxiliary first side bow component and the auxiliary second side bow component pivotally coupled to the first side bow component and the second side bow component, respectively. The system further comprises a declination angle adjuster positioned proximal a bridge of the eyewear frame, the declination angle adjuster comprising a rotatable member therein, and a vertical extension member extending from the eyewear frame and at least partially into the declination angle adjuster, the vertical extension member configured to engage the rotatable member within the declination angle adjuster.
SPINNABLE FRAMES FOR SPECTACLES
Spinnable frames for spectacles are provided. A spinnable frame allows a user to hold a distal end of one of the temples and freely spin the remainder of the spectacles around that end of the temple. A spin joint is provided in at least one of the temples that allows this spinning action. The spin joint may span an interface between the distal end of the temple and a proximal end of the temple, the proximal end being coupled to a front portion of the frame at a hinge interface. In this way, the temple arm is allowed to fold against the front portion for compact storage, as with conventional eyeglass frames, while facilitating spinning of the spectacles in a way that avoids excess forces on the hinge interface and/or other portions of the frame or lenses mounted therein.
PIVOTABLE EYEGLASS FRAME WITH SHORTENED TEMPLE BAR AND ANCHORING PAD
The present disclosure provides a pivotable eyeglass frame. In one aspect, the pivotable eyeglass frame includes a rim capable of receiving two lenses therein, and two temple bars, each being rotatably coupled to the rim via a hinge and having an anchoring pad mechanically coupled to the temple bar via a stepper column such that the rim is pivotable about the stepper column in steps.
Bifocal glasses-shaped frame
A glasses frame includes: a pair of lens-holding frames each holding vertically arranged lenses; a bridge coupling the lens-holding frames in height at the center; a temple; an inverting unit provided on an outside and in height at the center of each of the lens-holding frames and configured to invert the temple; and nose pads provided correspondingly one-to-one to both ends of the bridge and supporting the bridge while being in contact with a nose even when the lens-holding frames are inverted, in which the temple includes a bent portion.
Slip-resistant eyewear system
A slip-resistant eyewear system comprising an angular adjustment screw configured to couple to a first hinge of an eyewear frame such that an angle of the eyewear frame is adjustable relative to a first bow and a unitary eyewear retainer comprising a first end configured to couple to the first bow and a second end configured to couple to a second bow such that a tension is maintained on the unitary eyewear retainer when the unitary eyewear retainer extends around a back of a head of a user.
