Non-corrective plastic spectacle lens
The present invention provides a non-corrective spectacle lens which is a molded plastic lens used by a person having normal eyesight, or a polarizing lens constituted by the molded plastic lens and a polarizing film integrally superposed on the molded plastic lens. In order to moderately reduce the movement of the muscle necessary for focus adjustment, the non-corrective spectacle lens has a spherical power S within the range of −1.0 D≤S<−0.1 D, where D is diopter as a unit of the spherical power S.
Methods and devices for refractive corrections of presbyopia
Methods for treating presbyopia in a patient's eye involve inducing spherical aberration in a central area of the pupil. In embodiments, refractive properties of an eye are measured to obtain a baseline refractive correction. A lens for wearing on the eye is provided, or an optical device is implanted in the eye, or corneal tissue is removed to create spherical aberration or a distribution of spherical aberrations beyond the baseline refractive correction in the central area of the pupil. The central area of the pupil has a diameter of between 1.5 mm and 4.0 mm and has negligible spherical aberration without the treatment.
METHODS FOR DESIGNING AN OPHTHALMIC TINTED LENS AND OPHTHALMIC TINTED LENSES, AND CORRESPONDING OPHTHALMIC TINTED LENS
It is proposed a method for defining a design of an ophthalmic tinted lens provided with a turquoise blue ophthalmic filter. It is provided at least one optical parameter value that is prescribed with reference to a clear ophthalmic lens. At least one non-null optical power value is determined from said at least one prescribed optical parameter value. At least one reduction value is obtained. At least one reduced optical power value is calculated in function of said at least one non-null optical power value and said at least one reduction value. The ophthalmic tinted lens design is defined on the basis of said at least one reduced optical power value. Methods for defining a design of a first and a second ophthalmic tinted lens are also proposed. It is also proposed a corresponding ophthalmic tinted lens.
EYEGLASS LENS
Provided are an eyeglass lens that includes a lens substrate having a plurality of substrate protruding portions that protrude from a substrate base portion on a surface of the lens substrate and a coating film provided so as to cover the plurality of substrate protruding portions, the outermost surface of the eyeglass lens having a plurality of convex portions and concave portions, in which the thickness of the coating film varies over the surrounding regions of the substrate protruding portions, and technology related thereto.

Eyewear with flexible audio and advanced functions
Eyewear providing flexible audio to a user. The eyewear includes a frame having two temple arms. The frame also has a front rim retaining two lenses. The eyewear also includes an open ear speaker for firing directional audio to an ear of a user, thereby providing semi-private audio to the user. The eyewear may include a wireless connection to another smart device or network.
SPECTACLE LENS
Provided is an eyeglass lens including: a first region formed such that light transmitted therethrough is focused at a predetermined position in an eye; and a plurality of second regions formed such that light transmitted therethrough is focused at a position defocused from the predetermined position, wherein the plurality of second regions are formed to have a size and an arrangement interval such that light perceived in peripheral vision is perceived as pseudo-focusing at a position other than the predetermined position.
