IDENTIFYING, REDUCING HEALTH RISKS, AND TRACKING OCCUPANCY IN A FACILITY
Disclosed herein as methods, apparatuses, non-transitory computer readable media, and systems relating to reduction and/or identification of one or more health risks in a facility. For example, by sensing a bodily characteristic of an individual in a facility, e.g., by sensing at least one environmental characteristic. For example, by sensing surface cleanliness. For example, by tracking personnel in the facility. For example, by suggesting routes in an enclosure based at least in part in personnel concentration in the facility. Disclosed herein as methods, apparatuses, non-transitory computer readable media, and systems relating to monitoring occupancy of a facility.
ELECTROCHROMIC CATHODE MATERIALS
Various embodiments herein relate to electrochromic devices and electrochromic device precursors, as well as methods and apparatus for fabricating such electrochromic devices and electrochromic device precursors. In certain embodiments, the electrochromic device or precursor may include one or more particular materials such as a particular electrochromic material and/or a particular counter electrode material. In various implementations, the electrochromic material includes tungsten titanium molybdenum oxide. In these or other implementation, the counter electrode material may include nickel tungsten oxide, nickel tungsten tantalum oxide, nickel tungsten niobium oxide, nickel tungsten tin oxide, or another material.
PINHOLE MITIGATION FOR OPTICAL DEVICES
Methods, apparatus, and systems for mitigating pinhole defects in optical devices such as electrochromic windows. One method mitigates a pinhole defect in an electrochromic device by identifying the site of the pinhole defect and obscuring the pinhole to make it less visually discernible. In some cases, the pinhole defect may be the result of mitigating a short-related defect
MULTIFUNCTIONAL REARWARD VIEWING CAMERA SYSTEM
A vehicular vision system includes a rear-viewing camera disposed at a vehicle and viewing at least rearward of the vehicle. Each frame of image data captured by the imaging array of the rear-viewing camera includes a plurality of grids, with each grid of the plurality of grids having a respective set of photosensing elements associated with respective rows and columns of photosensing elements. A electro-optic rearview mirror assembly includes an electro-optic mirror reflective element that is controlled responsive to an ambient light condition and a glare light condition. The ambient light condition is determined by processing at least one first grid of the plurality of grids of the frames of image data captured by the rear-viewing camera. The glare light condition is determined by processing at least one second grid of the plurality of grids of the frames of image data captured by the rear-viewing camera.
DISPLAY DEVICE
Disclosed is a high quality display device which avoids complicated element structure, and does not unnecessarily reduce portability. The display device comprises: a pair of substrates which are disposed facing each other, and on each of which electrodes are formed; and a material layer which is sandwiched between the pair of substrates. The material layer contains: a coloring material which changes color upon the application of a voltage; and a light-emitting material which emits light upon photoexcitation.
SMART WINDOW
The present disclosure provides a smart window including a first base layer and a second base layer positioned to face each other; a first conductive layer and a second conductive layer respectively positioned at inner surfaces of the first base layer and the second base layer; and an electrolyte layer interposed between the first conductive layer and the second conductive layer, wherein the first conductive layer includes a plurality of first nanostructures, and the second conductive layer includes a plurality of second nanostructures having a different average length from the plurality of first nanostructures.
ELECTROCHROMIC MATERIAL AND TRANSMITTANCE VARIABLE PANEL AND DISPLAY DEVICE INCLUDING THE SAME
The present disclosure relates to an electrochromic material having a relatively high response speed and a reversible discoloration even by a relatively low driving voltage and an electrochromic particle, a transmittance variable panel and a transmittance variable display device including the electrochromic material.
COUNTER ELECTRODE FOR ELECTROCHROMIC DEVICES
The embodiments herein relate to electrochromic stacks, electrochromic devices, and methods and apparatus for making such stacks and devices. In various embodiments, an anodically coloring layer in an electrochromic stack or device is fabricated to include nickel tungsten tantalum oxide (NiWTaO). This material is particularly beneficial in that it is very transparent in its clear state.
COUNTER ELECTRODE MATERIAL FOR ELECTROCHROMIC DEVICES
Various embodiments herein relate to electrochromic devices, methods of fabricating electrochromic devices, and apparatus for fabricating electrochromic devices. In a number of cases, the electrochromic device may be fabricated to include a particular counter electrode material. The counter electrode material may include a base anodically coloring material. The counter electrode material may further include one or more halogens. The counter electrode material may also include one or more additives.
