There is provided an information processing device, an information processing method, and a program that make it possible to provide proper exposure control of a captured image. A matching section matches a feature point extracted from a captured image against a registered feature point stored in a predetermined storage section, and extracts a corresponding feature point in the captured image that corresponds to the registered feature point. A control section sets an exposure control value in accordance with an area image that is the image of an area near the corresponding feature point in the captured image. The present technology is applicable, for example, to an exposure control device that provides exposure control of a camera mounted on a mobile body.

A recognition device includes an imaging device that images a tip of the lead of a lead component multiple times at different shutter speeds, and multiple pieces of captured image data corresponding to the multiple times of imaging are generated. Then, it is determined whether the tip position of the lead is recognizable based on each of the multiple pieces of captured image data, and a shutter speed between the fastest shutter speed and the slowest shutter speed among the shutter speeds at the time of imaging according to the pieces of captured image data, which are determined to be recognizable, is determined as the optimum shutter speed. By determining the optimum shutter speed in this manner, the exposure light amount at the time of imaging can be stabilized regardless of the shape of the tip of the lead, and the tip position of the lead can be appropriately recognized.

Signal processing device, imaging device, and signal processing method

Posture information corresponding to a line of an input image is calculated. Then, a first virtual line, which is a line in a line direction of the input image for which the posture information calculated is common, is rotated according to the posture information to obtain a second virtual line on the output image. For each pixel of the output image, a corresponding second virtual line is calculated, and posture information is obtained on the basis of the corresponding second virtual line. Then, for coordinates of each pixel of the output image, the reference coordinates on the input image corresponding to the pixel coordinates is calculated using the associated posture information. By cutting out the output image from the input image on the basis of the reference pixel, highly accurate distortion correction can be realized even in a case where the camera posture differs depending on the line.

The present technology relates to an information processing apparatus, an information processing method, a program, and an interchangeable lens that make it possible to easily obtain images of a plurality of viewpoints.

A communication section receives region specification information for specifying respective regions of a plurality of facet images corresponding to pictures formed of respective light beams collected through a plurality of facet lenses, the respective regions being included in an image captured by one image sensor in a case where a camera body including the image sensor is equipped with an interchangeable lens including the plurality of facet lenses disposed in a manner that the plurality of facet lenses does not overlap each other in an optical axis direction. A region specification section specifies the regions of the plurality of facet images respectively corresponding to the plurality of facet lenses in the captured image, on the basis of the region specification information. The present technology is applicable to a camera system or the like that captures images, for example.

Image capturing apparatus, control method for image capturing apparatus, and control program for image capturing apparatus for controlling exposure of region having different brightness

An image capturing apparatus includes: an image capturing unit that includes an imaging device and outputs an image signal obtained by image capturing of a subject by the imaging device through an image capturing optical system; a control unit that, in a case of controlling an exposure for each of three or more division regions obtained by dividing an image represented by the image signal and in a case of dividing the image into a plurality of segment regions that are different from the division regions and among which a segment region extends across a boundary between some of the division regions, controls an exposure of the segment region in accordance with information about at least one division region among the some of the division regions over which the segment region extends; and a display unit that displays the image for which the exposure is controlled by the control unit.

Local exposure compensation

Image signal processing includes generating an exposure compensated image based on a gain value applied to an exposure level of a first image and a gain value applied to an exposure level of a second image. The gain value may be progressively increased from an approximate center of the first image to an edge of the first image to a common exposure level. The gain value may be progressively decreased from an approximate center of the second image to an edge of the second image to the common exposure level. Gain values may be scaled on each color channel for a pixel based on a saturation level of the pixel.
