SMART FLASH LAMP CONTROL METHOD AND MOBILE TERMINAL

A smart flashlight control method and a mobile terminal are provided. The method includes: when detecting that a photographing mode of a mobile terminal is turned on, detecting ambient light intensity of the mobile terminal; when the ambient light intensity of the mobile terminal is smaller than a first threshold, turning on a flashlight; detecting whether a target to be photographed by the mobile terminal includes a predetermined type; and when the target to be photographed includes the predetermined type, adjusting light intensity of a fill light in the mobile terminal, to achieve the best photographing effect.

Mobile device enabling collaboration with flashes of other devices and method thereof

A method for collaborating with other mobile devices (OMDs) in flash which is applied in a mobile device pre-captures an image of a subject taken by the mobile device, and analyzes the pre-captured image for optimal lighting. If lighting is not optimal, the mobile device calculates additional flash positions and identifies nearby OMDs in close proximity to the flash positions. User of the mobile device can make a selection of one or more nearby OMDs through a user interface, and the mobile device can request each OMD to move to a flash position and generate a synchronized flash when the mobile device is capturing the image. The image so taken and images from different camera angles can then be shared.

LIGHTING CONTROL FOR MULTI-VIEW IMAGE CAPTURE

An electronic device and method for lighting control for multi-view image capture is provided. The electronic device selects, from a plurality of predefined lighting patterns, a set of lighting patterns to capture a set of images of a subject. The electronic device controls a lighting system to illuminate the subject with a first pulse and a second pulse. An illumination intensity increases from a first intensity to a second intensity, associated with the first pulse and the second pulse respectively. The electronic device controls the lighting system to illuminate the subject with flash pulses corresponding to the selected set of lighting patterns, based on illumination of the subject with the first pulse and the second pulse. The electronic device controls a set of multi-view image capture devices to capture the set of images of the subject, based on illumination of the subject with the selected set of flash pulses.

Electronic device and color temperature adjusting method

An electronic device with a camera and a display that can output light to achieve a desired appearance of skin tone is provided. The display outputs light having a color temperature for lighting during picture taking. The electronic device analyzes a color temperature value of a capturing environment and compares that value with a preset value, calculates a difference value according to the comparing, and controls the display to adjust the color temperature of the light accordingly. A color temperature adjusting method of the electronic device is also provided.

The present disclosure relates to a flash generator for providing power supply to a flash tube so that the flash tube rapidly provides a light output adapted to FP-sync, Flat Peak. The flash generator comprises a capacitor bank, an output and a switch configured to switch a current flow from the capacitor bank via the output to provide a variable power via the output. The flash generator further comprises a controller for controlling the switch, whereby by controlling the on time of the switch, the generator is operative to provide, during a time period of 100 to 2000 s during a peak time period within the time period, an average power at least 4 times higher than the average power provided during the other time period within the time period, whereby the flash tube during the peak time period becomes fully ignited.

METHOD AND DEVICE FOR PHOTOGRAPHING IMAGES

A method for photographing images, applied to a mobile terminal having a source, the method including: obtaining a current ambient light intensity; determining a target luminous intensity based on the current ambient light intensity, wherein the target luminous intensity is a luminous intensity of the light source upon a photographing operation is performed; and controlling the light source to emit light according to the target luminous intensity.

METHOD AND DEVICE FOR CORRECTING COLOR TEMPERATURE OF FLASH LAMP

The present disclosure relates to a method and a device for correcting a color temperature of a flash lamp in the field of the computer technology. The method includes: obtaining a first color temperature value of a gray point region in a first image, in which the first image is obtained by capturing a scene when the flash lamp is closed; searching for an image region corresponding to the gray point region in a second image, in which the second image is obtained by capturing the scene when the flash lamp is open; and correcting the color temperature for the light compensation of the flash lamp according to a difference obtained by subtracting the first color temperature value from the second color temperature value.

Photography Lighting Control

In implementations of photography lighting control, a camera device includes a camera to capture an image of a subject in an environment. The camera device implements an image exposure module that can determine ambient lighting conditions of the environment, and discover fixed light sources that are usable to illuminate the subject for image capture in the environment. The image exposure module can determine optimal lighting for the image capture of the subject in the environment, as well as control one or more of the fixed light sources used to adjust the ambient lighting conditions of the environment for the optimal lighting and the image capture of the subject. The image exposure module can then initiate use of the controlled fixed light sources to capture the image of the subject.
