A lens screening device includes a housing and plate body, the housing has through holes, and the inside of the housing is configured with the plate body, which is acted by coils and magnetic elements to swing, thereby exposing or closing the through holes. The present invention is characterized in that a plurality of guide rails is configured inside the housing, the bottom surface of the plate body is in contact with the guide rails, and the bottom surface of the plate body is configured with at least one shallow groove, thereby reducing the weight, achieving a thin, lightweight structure.

CAP
20200192188 · 2020-06-18 ·

A cap attached to an article having an opening, the cap including a cap body and at least one locking member that is slidably attached inward and outward from a center and comes in press-contact with an inner circumferential surface of the article to be locked to the cap body, in which the locking member slidably engages with other locking members on both sides, slides inward toward the center, thereby pushes the other locking members inward, and releases the locking.

Lens Cap with Bistable Membrane for Spring Effect

A lens cap for protecting a lens having an optical portion, the lens cap having a base with a spring membrane, and a sidewall arranged to surround the optical portion, so as to create a cavity between the base and the optical portion. The spring membrane arranged to be movable between a deformed position wherein the spring membrane is deformed toward the optical portion, and a rest position wherein the spring membrane extends away from the optical portion.

ELECTRICALLY CONTROLLABLE OPTICAL DEVICE, METHOD FOR OPERATION THEREOF, AND SYSTEM INCLUDING AN ELECTRICALLY CONTROLLABLE OPTICAL DEVICE

The present disclosure provides an electrically controllable optical device and a method for operating the same. The electrically controllable optical device comprises a multi-stable liquid crystal layer and a controller, wherein the electrically controllable optical device is switchable between a transparent state and a non-transparent state. The method for operating the electrically controllable optical device comprises applying a voltage to the multi-stable liquid crystal layer, controlling at least one of the amplitude, frequency and number of pulses of the voltage to switch the electrically controllable optical device between a transparent state and a non-transparent state, and removing the voltage.

CAMERA CONCEALMENT USING PHOTOCHROMICS

A concealing device for an imager of a vehicle includes a photochromic lens cover with an external surface that is co-extensive with an adjacent portion of the vehicle and disposed proximate a lens of the imager. The photochromic lens cover is operable between a first condition wherein the photochromic lens cover is exposed to ultraviolet light and darkens to a transmissivity of less than 15% and a second condition wherein the photochromic lens cover includes a transmissivity of greater than 50%.

INTERCHANGEABLE LENS STORAGE CASE, CAP AND INTERCHANGEABLE LENS STORAGE CASE SYSTEM
20200089087 · 2020-03-19 · ·

An interchangeable lens storage case for storing an interchangeable lens using a cap mounted in one-end portion of the interchangeable lens includes: a case main body; and a first lid member positioned and fixed to an aperture of the case main body. The first lid member includes an aperture passing through the one-end portion of the interchangeable lens, and a reception portion pressed and fixed to the interchangeable lens in an outer peripheral portion of the aperture. The reception portion is fixed by being interposed between the interchangeable lens and the cap when the cap is fixed to the interchangeable lens.

IMAGING APPARATUS AND IMAGING METHOD

Information on posture data that can be used for processing on a frame basis can be acquired for moving image data to be captured. For the purpose, in an imaging apparatus including an imaging unit that captures an image by an optical system to generate image data, a posture data generation unit that generates posture data of a casing including the imaging unit at a timing corresponding to the image data, a notification unit that performs notification for correlating the image data with the posture data on the basis of a trigger, and a detector that detects the notification by the notification unit are provided.

LENS CAP FOR OPTICAL PROJECTORS
20200073204 · 2020-03-05 ·

Various embodiments described herein relates to a lens cap, adapted to be mechanically engaged over a lens assembly of an optical projector. The lens cap, as described herein, is adapted for vignetting a light pattern projected by the optical projector. The lens cap includes a front surface and a back surface, where on at least a portion of the front surface, an elliptically shaped aperture is defined. In this aspect, the elliptically shaped aperture is chamfered towards its peripheral ends, as the elliptically shaped aperture extends out from the back surface of the lens cap towards the front surface of lens cap. Also, the elliptically shaped aperture is defined on the lens cap such that, a center axis of the aperture is offset to a central axis of the lens cap, so as to match an offset at which the light pattern is projected by the optical projector.

Removable Camera Lens Cover

A camera is configured for use with a removable camera lens cover, which can be secured to or removed from the camera by a user without the use of a tool set. The mechanism which allows the lens cover to be secured to and removed from the camera includes a set of wires embedded into the lens cover and a set of wedges protruding from the lens wall of the camera. To secure the lens cover to the camera, the lens cover is placed onto the front of the camera and rotated until the wires align with corresponding wedges, securing the wires underneath the tapered surface of the wedges. To remove the lens cover from the camera, a force is applied outward and normal to the lens cover, causing the wires to flex outward and enabling the rotation and removal of the lens cover from the camera.

SLIDABLE WEBCAM CONCEALING APPARATUS
20200033697 · 2020-01-30 ·

The invention discloses an improved design of slim mechanical webcam cover or more specifically, it is a slidable concealing webcam cover for the devices with cameras and webcams such as laptop, smartphone, tablet, Television or any personal digital assistant, etc. to protect the owner of such devices from unauthorized access of their camera by any unknown person without knowledge of the owner, for any reasons such as for stalking, blackmailing or voyeurism etc. The slidable concealing webcam cover comprises a main body having; a holder, a slider and an attachment member. The holder of the concealing cover is divided into two main portions which are holding frame and aperture, wherein the holding frame supports and ensures the displacement of the slider within the aperture allowing it to move only in one direction which is parallel to upper-lower frame, while it locks the movement of the slider in any other direction. The aperture encloses the slider so that slider can run within the length of the aperture only, to cover or uncover the lens of the camera. The permanent attachment member attaches the concealing cover over the surface of the camera from the side support members of the holder frame. Furthermore, the covers get attached over the camera in such a way that the lens of the camera fall beneath the aperture of the concealing cover allowing the slider to cover or uncover it by moving within the aperture.
