Light source and fluid conduit assembly
A light source assembly (10) includes one or more lights (12) mounted on a substrate (14). A transparent cover (18) covers the one or more lights (12). A shaft (22) is coupled to the substrate (14) and to a handle (24). An electrical wire (30) is connected to the one or more lights (12) and passes through the shaft (22). A fluid conduit (32) passes through the shaft (22) and is in fluid communication with a fluid port (34) near or on the substrate (14).
Light Reflection
The description relates to devices that emit light from a light source. One example device can include a reflector extending along an arc and oriented in light receiving relation relative to the light source. The reflector can have a cross-sectional reflector profile taken transverse to the arc that includes a first portion having a swept profile that transitions to a second portion having a reverse swept profile.
System and method for illuminating and identifying an object
An illumination and imaging system that is used to obtain enhanced detailed images of objects. The system utilizes a flash element that produces a flash of polychromatic light. A plurality of fiber optic elements are provided that terminate with output ends. At least some of the fiber optic elements are doped to be different colors. Consequently, when each fiber optic element receives the flash of polychromatic light from the flash element, that fiber optic element propagates and filters the polychromatic light to produce colored filtered light. The colored filtered light is directed toward the object being imaged by the camera. The illumination has small points of origin, different color characteristics and simultaneous short flash duration. The combination of colored, directional light sources enables the camera to image very fine details by enhancing surface texture and embedding the image with the color photometric stereo information.
LED FLASH RING SURROUNDING CAMERA LENS
A flash system for an electronic device includes a ring-shaped light guide having a central opening. A camera lens is positioned in or behind the opening. A first light emitting diode (LED) is mounted on a printed circuit board (PCB), and the LED and PCB are encapsulated by a molded light guide of the flash system. An identical LED and PCB are encapsulated at an opposite end of the molded light guide (i.e., 180 degrees away). The back surfaces of each PCB diffusively reflects light from the LED on the other PCB. Light extraction features on the light guide surface uniformly leak out light from the LEDs. The light emission profile of the light guide has a peak axially aligned with the central opening of the light guide and rolls off to the edge of the camera's field of view.
Proximity and color-based lighting for controlled subject distortion in film and photography
A method of selectively distorting a human face or other subject to be filmed or photographed includes providing a reflective or transmissive medium on which is formed a color pattern of two or more colors that produces white or gray by additive mixing, the color pattern consisting of a first set of one or more colors each of whose hue is 300 degrees or 120 degrees on a standard RGB color wheel and a second set of one or more colors each of whose hue is between 120 degrees and 300 degrees, the first set of colors confined to a contiguous region of the color pattern that makes up 50% or less by area. The method further includes positioning the medium relative to a light source and the subject such that light incident on the medium is reflected or transmitted by the medium and cast upon the subject.
Illumination system and recording system for volumetric capturing
An illumination system for illuminating a scene location emits light from a light surface in order to form a keying background for recording the scene location.
PHOTO TERMINAL STAND SYSTEM
A photo terminal stand system is provided having a case, a one-way mirror, a computer display for presenting a graphical presentation seen through the one-way mirror, a camera, a touch overlay frame, a computer, configured to receive touch input from the touch overlay frame and responsively to activate the camera to record an image or a video sequence, a camera flash, and at least one of a reflector, a wheel bumper brake, and a service step ladder.
LED flash ring surrounding camera lens
A flash system for an electronic device includes a ring-shaped light guide having a central opening. A camera lens is positioned in or behind the opening. A first light emittting diode (LED) is mounted on a printed circuit board (PCB), and the LED and PCB are encapsulated by a molded light guide of the flash system.
Lens and optoelectronic lighting device
A lens includes a base body having a light incidence face through which light can enter the base body and a light exit face, through which light which has entered the base body can emerge, the light exit face includes a microlens structure having a plurality of microlenses, the light incidence face has at least two collimator segments that collimate light and a light entry region formed differently from the collimator segments, the base body has at least two back-reflection regions respectively assigned to one of the two collimator segments, to reflect back light collimated by a corresponding collimator segment, in a direction of the corresponding collimator segment, and the base body is a reflection region to reflect light that has entered through the light incidence region in the direction of the microlens structure so that the reflected light can emerge from the base body through the microlens structure.
