REFRIGEREATED DISPLAY CABINET WITH MIXED OR CROSS FLOW FAN
A refrigerated display cabinet includes a housing surrounding a plurality of shelves, a cabinet tank arranged beneath the plurality of shelves and a backwall channel positioned behind the plurality of shelves. The cabinet tank and the backwall channel cooperate to define an air passage. A micro-channel heat exchanger and a fan are arranged within the air passage. The fan being operable to move a flow of air through the heat exchanger. The fan is one of a cross-flow fan and a mixed-flow fan. The heat exchanger is arranged within the air passage at an angle between about 20 degrees and about 80 degrees or between about 100 degrees and about 160 degrees relative to the flow of air.
AIR CURTAIN SYSTEM FOR OPEN DISPLAY REFRIGERATORS
The present invention provides an open display refrigerator comprising: a refrigerated storage space, air in the refrigerated storage space being separated from air exterior to the open display refrigerator by an air curtain established by a fan which blows air towards an air outlet, air in the air curtain being recovered by an air inlet which recirculates the air from the air curtain into an air duct coupled to the air outlet, and an air guide coupled to the air outlet or air duct and extending from the air outlet such that it bypasses a portion of a void between the uppermost shelf and the air outlet, whereby the air curtain is established between an extremity of the portion of the void proximal to the air inlet and the air inlet.
SHOWCASE WITH TWO-STORY STRUCTURE
The present invention relates to a showcase with a two-story structure including: a body having an upper story storage chamber with a top opening formed on top thereof and first cold air introduction holes formed on the side surfaces thereof and a lower story storage chamber separately disposed adjacent to the underside of the upper story storage chamber and with a front opening formed on front thereof and second cold air introduction holes formed on the side surfaces thereof; upper doors for opening and closing the top opening of the upper story storage chamber; and drawers for slidingly opening and closing the front opening of the lower story storage chamber, so that the upper story storage chamber and the lower story storage chamber are separated up and down to have different temperatures distributed thereto, thereby sortedly storing a variety of foods or products with different storage characteristics from one another therein, and the front opening of the lower story storage chamber is open and closed by means of the drawers, thereby providing many conveniences of use.
OPEN DISPLAY REFRIGERATORS
The present invention provides an open display refrigerator comprising: a refrigerated storage space, air in the refrigerated storage space being separated from air exterior to the open display refrigerator by an air curtain established by a fan which blows air towards an air outlet and which recovers air in the air curtain via an air inlet for recirculation to the air outlet; a wall bounding at least a part of the duct and the refrigerated storage space, the wall comprising one or more voids such that air in the duct can flow into the refrigerated storage space via the one or more voids; a deflector which, when the refrigerator is in use, interrupts at least a portion of the flow of air from the one or more voids and directs the portion of the flow of air towards the top of the refrigerator.
FIELD-INSTALLABLE REFRIGERATED CABINET KIT WITH ON-CABINET REFRIGERATION SYSTEM
In a field-installable refrigerated merchandiser kit, a prefabricated refrigeration system module releasably and operatively connects to a separate cabinet module via mutual connection fittings to form a refrigerated merchandiser. The refrigerated merchandiser can have multiple refrigeration systems cooling a common refrigerated space inside the cabinet, each with an independent temperature controller. A refrigeration system can be disconnected from the cabinet only by separating releasable fasteners and disconnecting electrical plug-in connections. Each refrigeration system is prefabricated with integrated condensate removal. The refrigeration system mounts entirely above the top wall of the cabinet enabling deployment at zero offset from a backing structure. The refrigerated merchandiser can be deployed to occupy a footprint and have a ratio of shelf space volume to foot print greater than 3.25 ft.sup.3/ft.sup.2.
Showcase with two-story structure
A showcase with a two-story structure includes a body having an upper story storage chamber with a top opening formed on top thereof and first cold air introduction holes formed on the side surfaces thereof and a lower story storage chamber separately disposed adjacent to the underside of the upper story storage chamber and with a front opening formed on front thereof and second cold air introduction holes formed on the side surfaces thereof; upper doors for opening and closing the top opening of the upper story storage chamber; and drawers for slidingly opening and closing the front opening of the lower story storage chamber.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR DISPLAY CASE TURNDOWN
A controller for a refrigerated display case includes processing circuitry configured to receive operational data from multiple refrigerated display cases and an ambient temperature reading from an ambient temperature sensor. The processing circuitry is configured to determine a limp level for a rack that includes the multiple refrigerated display cases based on the operational data and the ambient temperature reading. The processing circuitry is configured to determine an operational cooling parameter for each of the multiple refrigerated display cases based on the limp level. The operational cooling parameter indicates an amount of cooling or a corresponding cooling operation for each refrigerated display case. The processing circuitry is configured to operate each of the multiple refrigerated display cases using the operational cooling parameter.
PORTABLE FREEZER MODULE
Disclosed is a portable freezer module (30) for displaying and dispensing frozen edible products. The module comprises a case (32) and a duct (36). The case (32) comprises an insulated container having an interior space (33) for containing the frozen products, and an active cooling system for cooling the interior space and having a hot end (31) and a cold end (35). The duct (36) extends from the hot end (31) of the active cooling system of the case to a heat exhaust outlet (38). The module (30) is configured such that the case (32) can be removably sited in a presentation space (24) of a chill cabinet (20) with the heat exhaust (38) of the duct (36) positioned outside of the presentation space (24). The duct (36) is a hollow tube free from refrigerant conduits, electrical cables and other electrical equipment.
BEVERAGE COOLER FOR PROVIDING SUPERCOOLED OR CHILLED BEVERAGES
A cooler includes a cabinet having an interior volume for storing a beverage container containing a beverage and a door for providing access to the interior volume of the cabinet. The cooler further includes a lock configured to maintain door in a closed position when the lock is engaged. The cooler includes a cooling unit configured to maintain the cabinet at a predetermined temperature and a temperature sensor arranged within the cabinet that detects a temperature within the cabinet. A control unit is in communication with the cooling unit and the temperature sensor, and the control unit is configured to control the cooling unit to maintain a temperature within the cabinet at a predetermined temperature as determined by the temperature sensor.
