The air flow system comprises a plurality of ducts under the produce bed; an air distribution box that evenly distributes the air through the ducts; and a plurality of fans that circulate the air from the ducts under the produce bed to a region above the produce bed. The display table further comprises a control device that controls a flow of the air via the fans to the produce bed according to a state of the perishable produce items on the produce bed; and a self-contained power panel that that generates power for the fans, the air distribution box, and the control device, wherein the power panel includes a cell power electrical system.

METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR ENHANCED OFF-CYCLE DEFROST

A refrigeration system includes a first circulation fan electrically coupled to a power source via a first load wire. A relay is electrically coupled to the first circulation fan via a second load wire and to the power source. In an open position, the relay interrupts electrical voltage from the relay to the first circulation fan via the second load wire causing the first circulation fan to operate in a low-speed mode. In a closed position, the relay supplies electrical voltage to the first circulation fan via the second load wire causing the first circulation fan to operate in a high-speed mode. Operation of the first circulation fan in the high-speed mode reduces a defrost cycle time associated with the refrigeration system relative to operation of the first circulation fan in low-speed mode.

Product merchandising systems and methods

A product merchandising system includes a housing having a top surface, two side surfaces spaced apart from one another defining a width-direction of the housing, and a front surface and rear surface spaced apart from one another defining a depth-direction of the housing. The system includes a product support system configured to support rows of products along a width of the housing, each row disposed at a position along the depth of the housing, the first row being towards the front surface of the housing. A cooling system includes a cooling system including a cooling heat exchanger generating an airflow, a deflector configured to direct the airflow through the cooling heat exchanger and towards a bottom of the housing, and a nozzle below the deflector and configured to direct the airflow towards a bottom of the housing through an outlet aperture and between a first two rows of products.

REFRIGERATED DISPLAY CASE

A refrigerated display case (20) having at least one unit composed of a plurality of wall assemblies, namely a bottom assembly (22.3), a rear wall assembly, and a top assembly (22.1), which delimit a cooling space at the bottom, the rear, and the top, and having a cooling unit (1) whose components include at least one evaporator (11), one condenser (13, 13), and one electric control unit (15). An environmentally friendly refrigerated display case (20) is achieved in that the cooling unit (1) includes at least two closed refrigerant circuits (10, 10), which convey propane as a refrigerant and are each provided with a compressor (12, 12), and in order to variably control the cooling output, at least one compressor (12, 12) is embodied with a speed regulation and at least one compressor (12, 12) is embodied for operation at a constant speed.

Refrigerated sales cabinet

A refrigerated sales cabinet comprises a cabinet body providing a refrigerated sales space for supporting refrigerated goods to be presented therein; at least one door; and a door frame having a top post, a bottom post, and at least two upright posts. At least one of the posts comprises a main body having a constant cross-section including a rear wall portion, two side wall portions, respectively extending forward from the rear wall portion, and a support member extending between the two side wall portions. An insulating front element is attached to the support member by means of at least one connection element located in a central area of the support member of the main body, the central area laterally spaced apart from the two side wall portions.

Holder for a refrigerated case

A refrigerated case includes a case body including a top panel, a rear panel, and a bottom that cooperate to define a display space, a portion of a refrigeration system disposed in the case and operable to cool a flow of air, and a first air passage positioned to direct the flow of air near the top panel from the rear panel generally toward a front of the case. A one piece holder is positioned to receive the flow of air adjacent the front of the case, the one piece holder formed as a unitary component using a PVC foam material and arranged to accelerate and redirect the flow of air in a downward direction toward the bottom, and a filter member is at least partially supported by the holder and positioned to receive the flow of air in the downward direction and to redirect that flow into the display space.

Showcase
09962015 · 2018-05-08 · ·

A showcase includes: a case main body; and article mounting shelves that mount articles as objects to be stored. The showcase causes the articles to be visually recognized through a customer serving face. Each of the article mounting shelves includes: a pair of brackets supported by a pair of shelf columns; and a shelf board. Each of the brackets includes locking pieces that are provided with respective notches at lower ends of predetermined areas. The showcase is supported by each of the shelf columns by causing the locking pieces to be inserted into corresponding inner face locking holes formed on an inner face of each of the shelf columns and causing lower edges of the inner face locking holes to relatively enter the notches, to cause the locking pieces to be locked to the inner face locking holes.

SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR REDUCING AIR LOSSES IN REFRIGERATED CASES
20180106524 · 2018-04-19 · ·

A refrigerated display case includes a frame, a door, and a lateral flow barrier. The frame includes a first mullion and a second mullion. The frame defines a common refrigerated zone. The door is hingedly mounted to the first mullion. The door is configured to selectively interface with the second mullion. The lateral flow barrier is coupled to one of the first mullion and the second mullion. The lateral flow barrier extends into the common refrigerated zone. The lateral flow barrier partially separates the common refrigerated zone into an first sub-compartment proximate the door and bounded by the lateral flow barrier and an second sub-compartment opposite the first sub-compartment. The lateral flow barrier is not thermally insulating.

Field-installable refrigerated cabinet kit with on-cabinet refrigeration system

In a field-installable refrigerated merchandiser kit, a prefabricated refrigeration system module releasably and operatively connects to a separate cabinet module via mutual connection fittings to form a refrigerated merchandiser. The refrigerated merchandiser can have multiple refrigeration systems cooling a common refrigerated space inside the cabinet, each with an independent temperature controller. A refrigeration system can be disconnected from the cabinet only by separating releasable fasteners and disconnecting electrical plug-in connections. Each refrigeration system is prefabricated with integrated condensate removal. The refrigeration system mounts entirely above the top wall of the cabinet enabling deployment at zero offset from a backing structure. The refrigerated merchandiser can be deployed to occupy a footprint and have a ratio of shelf space volume to foot print greater than 3.25 ft.sup.3/ft.sup.2.

INTEGRATED DOOR RAILS FOR DOOR CASES
