Refrigerated sales cabinet
A refrigerated sales cabinet comprises a cabinet body providing a refrigerated sales space for supporting refrigerated goods to be presented therein; at least one door; and a door frame having a top post, a bottom post, and at least two upright posts. At least one of the posts comprises a main body having a constant cross-section including a rear wall portion, two side wall portions, respectively extending forward from the rear wall portion, and a support member extending between the two side wall portions. An insulating front element is attached to the support member by means of at least one connection element located in a central area of the support member of the main body, the central area laterally spaced apart from the two side wall portions.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR REDUCING AIR LOSSES IN REFRIGERATED CASES
A refrigerated display case includes a frame, a door, and a lateral flow barrier. The frame includes a first mullion and a second mullion. The frame defines a common refrigerated zone. The door is hingedly mounted to the first mullion. The door is configured to selectively interface with the second mullion. The lateral flow barrier is coupled to one of the first mullion and the second mullion. The lateral flow barrier extends into the common refrigerated zone. The lateral flow barrier partially separates the common refrigerated zone into an first sub-compartment proximate the door and bounded by the lateral flow barrier and an second sub-compartment opposite the first sub-compartment. The lateral flow barrier is not thermally insulating.
Apparatus, system, and method for storage in a refrigerated appliance
An apparatus, system, and method for storage in a refrigerated appliance. One aspect includes glides or slides underneath and within the bottom perimeter dimensions of any bin or bin carrier relative to its supporting structure in the refrigerated appliance. This allows adjacent bins to more efficiently utilize lateral storage space in the refrigerator. It also promotes hiding of the glide or slides from view.
Field-installable refrigerated cabinet kit with on-cabinet refrigeration system
In a field-installable refrigerated merchandiser kit, a prefabricated refrigeration system module releasably and operatively connects to a separate cabinet module via mutual connection fittings to form a refrigerated merchandiser. The refrigerated merchandiser can have multiple refrigeration systems cooling a common refrigerated space inside the cabinet, each with an independent temperature controller. A refrigeration system can be disconnected from the cabinet only by separating releasable fasteners and disconnecting electrical plug-in connections. Each refrigeration system is prefabricated with integrated condensate removal. The refrigeration system mounts entirely above the top wall of the cabinet enabling deployment at zero offset from a backing structure. The refrigerated merchandiser can be deployed to occupy a footprint and have a ratio of shelf space volume to foot print greater than 3.25 ft.sup.3/ft.sup.2.
Product Display Systems and Methods
A product display may include a product swatch frame having a plurality of convex surfaces extending towards a front surface and defining product swatch support surfaces configured to support a swatch including a product identifier; and a flange configured to position the swatch provided between an adjacent pair of convex surfaces. A product merchandising system may include a housing having a front surface; and a product display disposed proximate the front surface.
Dispensing of food and beverage products
A cooler cabinet comprises: a storage compartment (130) for food or beverage products (130); a dispensing mechanism (143) for dispensing the food or beverage products (144) from the storage compartment without opening the storage compartment to ambient air; a water-retaining material (120) outside the storage compartment but in contact with it; an air channel (111) in contact with the water-retaining material; and means (114) for moving air through the air channel such that the air increases the rate of evaporation of water from the water-retaining material. It thereby withdraws heat from the water-retaining material and causes cooling of the interior of the cabinet, including the food or beverage products.
STANDOFF FEATURE FOR APPLIANCE
A standoff feature for an appliance includes a connecting member having a first end and a second end. A first side member extends in a first direction from the first end of the connecting member. A second side member is spaced from the first side member. The second side member extends in the first direction from the second end of the connecting member. A first flange extends from a first side edge of the connecting member. The first side edge extends between the first end and the second end. The first flange extends in a second direction from the connecting member. A second flange extends from a second side edge of the connecting member. The second side edge extends between the first end and the second end and opposes the first side edge. The second flange extends in the second direction from the connecting member.
MULTI-PURPOSE RETAIL DISPLAY MERCHANDISING CABINET WITH DETACHABLE COOLING SYSTEM
A multi-purpose retail display merchandising cavity is provided. An insulated case defines an internal product display area. The internal display area can be non-refrigerated and may only use a detachable fan cooling cartridge to maintain the ambient room temperature inside the internal product display area. Alternatively, the cavity can become refrigerated when a detachable refrigerated cooling cartridge is used to refrigerate the internal display area, thus allowing the cabinet to be easily and interchangeably used as either a dry goods cabinet for non-refrigerated goods or as a refrigerator for refrigerated goods.
Cooling unit for chilled, in particular frozen, goods
The invention relates to a cooling unit (1) for chilled, in particular frozen, goods, comprising a cooling chamber (2), a housing wall (3) that at least partially delimits the cooling chamber (2), a carrier (8) that bridges the cooling chamber (2) at least in some regions and has a covering (14) and a support profile (15) for absorbing bending stresses, which profile is at least partially covered by the covering (14), and at least one sliding cover (4, 5, 6, 7), by means of which the cooling chamber (2) can be at least partially closed and which is mounted in a slidable manner on the covering (14) of the carrier (8) and on the housing wall (3) by way of linear guides (9, 10, 11) of the cooling unit (1). In order to provide a stable and user-friendly cooling unit (1), the support profile (15) runs at least partially beneath the linear guide (10, 11).
