AIR GUIDING STRIP FOR REFRIGERATORS
A refrigerator has an open front, an air curtain system having at least one upper air egress having an outer edge and at least one lower air-recovery ingress. The air curtain system is adapted to produce a substantially vertical air curtain over at least part of the open front of the refrigerator. The refrigerator has a plurality of shelves between the egress and the ingress a plurality of shelves between the egress and the ingress including a first shelf that has an aerofoil positioned in front of it, the first shelf being located in the upper half of the open front of refrigerator. The refrigerator also includes a second shelf that does not have an aerofoil positioned in front of it, the second shelf being located below the first shelf.
DISPLAY CASE WITH INSULATED FOAM PANELING
A refrigerated display case chassis includes a first insulated panel and a second insulated panel. The first insulated panel has a first foam layer bounded by a first pair of thermally conductive sheets. The first insulated panel forms a first wall of the refrigerated display case chassis. The second insulated panel has a second foam layer bounded by a second pair of thermally conductive sheets. The second insulated panel forms a second wall of the refrigerated display case chassis. The second insulated panel mates with the first insulated panel to form a thermally insulated joint where, in cross-section, one sheet of the first pair of thermally conductive sheets terminates at a surface of the second foam layer. The thermally conductive sheets have a greater thermal conductivity than the first or second foam layers.
Air curtain blanking plate
An open display refrigerator comprises a refrigerated interior space, air in the refrigerated interior space being separated from air exterior to the open display refrigerator by an air curtain established by a fan which blows air through an air outlet towards a corresponding air inlet which recovers air from the air curtain for recirculation to the air outlet. A distal region of the air outlet is occluded to leave only a region of the air outlet proximal to the interior space open, and an air curtain guide is aligned in a direction of air flow of the air curtain with an edge of the blanking plate proximal to the interior space.
Refrigerators
A refrigerator has an open front and an air curtain system having at least one upper air egress with an outer edge and at least one lower air-recovery ingress. The air curtain system is adapted to produce a substantially vertical air curtain over at least part of the open front of the refrigerator. The refrigerator comprises at least one shelf between the egress and the ingress, the shelf having a front edge, and at least one elongate air-guiding strip extending across at least part of the open front of the fridge. The strip is located substantially in the plane of the shelf and spaced from the front edge of the shelf. The strip is located substantially vertically beneath the outer edge of the upper air egress.
DISPLAY COUNTER FOR MAKING AND KEEPING LIQUID OR SEMI-LIQUID FOOD PRODUCTS
A display counter for making and keeping liquid or semi-liquid food products is characterized in that it is made up of a plurality of modules, each defining at least one product processing position and adapted to be connectable to each other in a plurality of configurations and combinations so that the display counter can adopt a plurality of operational compositions.
AIR CURTAIN SYSTEM FOR OPEN DISPLAY REFRIGERATORS
The present invention provides an open display refrigerator comprising: a refrigerated storage space, air in the refrigerated storage space being separated from air exterior to the open display refrigerator by an air curtain established by a fan which blows air towards an air outlet, air in the air curtain being recovered by an air inlet which recirculates the air from the air curtain into an air duct coupled to the air outlet, and an air guide coupled to the air outlet or air duct and extending from the air outlet such that it bypasses a portion of a void between the uppermost shelf and the air outlet, whereby the air curtain is established between an extremity of the portion of the void proximal to the air inlet and the air inlet.
High efficient night cover
A night cover for a refrigerated merchandiser that is positionable to substantially enclose a product display area of the merchandiser. The night cover includes a first portion and a second portion that is disposed above the first portion. The second portion cooperates with the first portion to define a first surface area, and the second portion defines a second surface area and has an open section configured to permit ambient airflow through the night cover. A ratio of the first surface area to the second surface area is between approximately 7:1 and 18:1.
FOOD PAN COOLING SYSTEM WITH THERMAL SHIMS AND ASSOCIATED PREPARATION TABLE
A food pan cooling system includes a housing with a food item holding arrangement including a recessed well area defining at least a first food pan receiving location and a second food pan receiving location. The first food pan receiving location includes a first cooled wall structure in the recessed well area to at least in part define the first food pan receiving location, the first cooled wall structure having a first surface facing the first food pan receiving location. A first thermal shim is connected to the first cooled wall structure, the first thermal shim having a first shim surface and a second shim surface, the first shim surface at least partly in contact with the first surface of the first cooled wall structure, and the second shim surface facing the first food pan receiving location.
Bracket for Refrigerator Aerofoils
A bracket (100) for clamping an aerofoil to a shelf (102) of a refrigerator is described. Bracket (100) comprises a mounting portion for holding part of an aerofoil in use, an upper jaw (104) configured to engage the forward lip (106) of shelf (102) and a lower jaw member (108) configured to engage a lower lip (112) on the underside (110) of refrigerator shelf (102). The bracket (100) may also comprise clamping means shown generally by (114) configured to enable the upper jaw member (104) and the lower jaw members (108) to be drawn towards one another to clamp the bracket (100) on the refrigerator shelf (102).
