A device implemented at an air inlet of a refrigerated display cabinet is disclosed. The device comprises a housing comprising one or more inlets, and an air filter configured with a first wall of the housing. The housing is adapted to be fitted at an air inlet of the cabinet. The housing has a predefined dimension corresponding to the air inlet such that upon fitting the device at the air inlet, the air filter faces an airflow duct associated with a refrigeration system of the cabinet and the one or more inlets face a conservation space and/or an air curtain associated with the cabinet. The device restricts the entry of particulates, objects, and/or liquid within the duct, supply clean filtered air within the duct, and allows easier collection, removal, and cleaning of the particulates, objects, and liquid from the device.

The multiple signal input ports respectively correspond to multiple kinds of light output control signals. The signal selection circuit selects, when receiving two or more light output control signals indicating different light output levels through the multiple signal input ports, a light output control signal indicating a lowest (or highest) light output level, from the two or more light output control signals. The control circuit performs switching control of the switching device with a duty cycle corresponding to the lowest (or highest) light output level indicated by the light output control signal selected by the signal selecting circuit.

The slot has a major axis extending through a center of the slot. A bearing is configured to rotationally support a hinge pin and is coupled to the side wall. The bearing includes a positioning element that is disposed in the slot and in the slot extension. The positioning element is movable within the slot and the slot extension such that the bearing is movable along the major axis to permit axial adjustment of a position of the bearing relative to the plenum housing and the bearing is immovable rotationally relative to the plenum housing.

The case further includes a modular plenum coupled to the housing and positioned behind the cooling element relative to the opening, wherein the modular plenum includes: at least one fan removably coupled to the modular plenum, wherein the at least one fan induces an air flow through the cooling element, and at least one electrical connector coupled to the modular plenum and positioned proximate each of the at least one fan for providing electrical power to each of the at least one fan.
