A showcase includes: a box-shaped case main body sectioned into a storage room and a machine room by a heat insulating bottom plate; article mounting shelves arranged in a plurality of stages in an up-and-down direction in the storage room; a circulating fan configured to circulate air from inside the storage room between the storage room and the machine room; and a cooler arranged in the machine room and configured to cool the air circulated by the circulating fan. The heat insulating bottom plate includes a first air inlet formed in a face facing the storage room, a second air inlet formed at a position that is in a face facing the machine room and does not overlap with the first air inlet in the up-and-down direction, and an inlet flow channel formed so as to cause the first and the second air inlets to communicate with each other.

The cooling and heating tray (11) for gastronomy containers has a base (12) and side walls (13, 14, 15), wherein a heating device and a cooling device are provided for optional operation as a heating tray or as a cooling tray, and wherein the heating device heats the base (12). According to the invention, both the base (12) and the side walls (13, 14, 15) consist of stainless steel, and the base (12) is fixed at a number of locations, preferably by means of threaded bolts (16) welded to the base (12), to a sandwich panel (20), preferably consisting of a layer of stainless steel (21), a layer of aluminium (22) and a further layer of stainless steel (23). The cooling device cools both the side walls (13, 14, 15) and the base (12).

The merchandiser may include an ambient compartment with at least one ambient product therein, a temperature controlled compartment with at least one temperature controlled product therein, and a rotary internal transport system within the temperature controlled compartment so as to dispense a temperature controlled product in response to an ambient product being placed therein.

The system provides audio and visual warnings and visual displays. In some embodiments, the system performs one or more physical operation based on one or more detected condition. The system is further configured to distinguish between accurate temperature readings and inaccurate temperature readings and/or to otherwise determine if an obstacle is preventing a temperature sensor from obtaining an accurate temperature reading.

SHELF ASSEMBLY FOR APPLIANCE

A shelf assembly for a refrigerator includes a frame assembly having front and rear frame members with respective front and rear channels. A panel includes first and second ends, wherein the first end is fully received in the front channel, and further wherein the second end is partially received in the rear channel. A spacer assembly includes a spacer member and one or more clip members extending upwardly from a base portion. The clip members are clipped to mounting apertures disposed on the second portion of the rear frame member. The spacer member is received through a receiving aperture disposed through the rear frame member. The spacer member extends into the rear channel and engages the second end of the panel when the spacer assembly is clipped to the rear frame member to retain the panel in the channels of the front and rear frame members.
