An image formation apparatus includes an image bearing member on which an electrostatic latent image is formed and a developing agent bearing member configured to carry a developer used to develop the electrostatic latent image formed on the image bearing member. The image formation apparatus forms an image by using the electrostatic latent image formed on the image bearing member. The image formation apparatus further includes an obtaining unit configured to obtain the information about a rotation speed of the image bearing member and a rotation speed of the developing agent bearing member; a determination unit configured to determine, according to the obtained information, a color conversion table used to transfer and record the input image data; and an image formation unit configured to convert a signal of the input image data according to the determined color conversion table and form an image with the converted signal value.

Provided is an electrophotographic image forming method using two or more electrostatic image developing toners including a charging step, an exposing step, a developing step, a transferring step, and a fixing step, wherein, among the two or more toners, at least one is an achromatic color toner or a clear toner, and at least one is a chromatic color toner which contains a crystalline resin and a releasing agent; in the fixing step, a recording material to which is transferred an unfixed image formed with the two or more electrostatic image developing toners is nipped and conveyed to a fixing nip portion provided between a heated fixing rotating body and a pressure member, and thermally fixed; and a residual toner component is cleaned by a cleaning rotating body which is in contact with the fixing rotating body and a cleaning member which is in contact with the cleaning rotating body.
FIXING APPARATUS AND IMAGE PROCESSING APPARATUS
A fixing apparatus comprises a rotating body that conveys a sheet in a first direction, first and second heating sections, and first and second temperature detectors. In the first heating section, a calorific value per unit length in a second direction orthogonal to the first direction, at the center of the first heating section is larger than that at both ends thereof. In the second heating section, a calorific value per unit length in the second direction, at both ends of the second heating section is larger than that at the center thereof. The first temperature detector is configured to detect a temperature of a central part of a heating area of the rotating body heated by one of the first and second heating sections. The second temperature detector is configured to detect a temperature outside of the heating area of the rotating body.

An image forming apparatus that is capable of executing image forming operation includes an image bearing member, a developer carrying member that faces the image bearing member in a state of keeping a predetermined gap therefrom and develops a latent image on the image bearing member using developer, a frame that supports the developer carrying member, and applying unit that apply developing voltage, in which DC voltage and AC voltage are superimposed, to the developer carrying member. A conductive member is disposed in the frame, a detecting unit detects AC current induced in the conductive member by applying the developing voltage to the developer carrying member, and a control portion controls the applying unit. The control portion controls the developing voltage in the image forming operation, based on the AC current which the detecting unit detects in a case where the voltage is applied by the applying unit.
IMAGE FORMATION APPARATUS
One or more embodiments may be an image formation apparatus that may include: a roller attached to an apparatus main body to convey a medium; and a pivot member pivotable between a closed position and an open position relative to the apparatus main body. The pivot member includes: a cleaning member that is in contact with the roller to thereby remove adherents from the roller in a state where the pivot member is in the closed position; a first storage section provided to accommodate the adherents removed by the cleaning member; and a second storage section provided communicating with the first storage section through an opening. The pivot member is configured such that the removed adherents that is accommodated in the first storage section moves from the first storage section to the second storage section when the pivot member pivots from the closed position to the open position.
IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS
An image forming apparatus includes a casing, a door, first and second switching portions, an interlocking portion, and an operating portion. The first switching portion is switched to a first state in which the door is rotatable from a closed position to a first opened position and a second state in which the door is rotatable from the first opened position to a second opened position. The second switching portion is switched to a third state in which the door is rotatable from the closed position to the first opened position and a fourth state in which the door is rotatable from the first opened position to the second opened position. The interlocking portion interlocks the first and second switching portions. The operating portion switches the first switching portion to the first and second states, and switches the second switching portion to the third and fourth states.

An image forming apparatus includes: a photoconductor; an optical writer to write a latent image on the photoconductor; an image data generator to generate image data of at least one of text and image and of a correction pattern; a light emission controller to control a light source of the optical writer; a developing device to develop the latent image into a toner image; a transfer device to transfer the toner image onto a recording medium; a fixing device to fix the toner image thereon; a detector to detect the toner image of the correction pattern formed according to the image data; and a writing position controller to control when the light source emits light based on the toner image detected. The correction pattern is formed at each of four corners inside a margin of the recording medium, and includes two edges in each of main scanning and sub-scanning directions.

An image forming apparatus includes a first image forming unit for forming a first image on a sheet using a first toner. The first toner includes at least two fluorochromes which have a fluorescence peak in a wavelength range different from one another. A second image forming unit is configured to form a second image on the sheet using a second toner. The second toner includes a visible colored pigment. A softening point temperature of the first toner, as measured by differential scanning calorimetry, is higher than a softening point temperature of the second toner, as measured by differential scanning calorimetry.
