METHOD FOR PRODUCING PRINTED MATERIAL AND SYSTEM FOR PRODUCING PRINTED MATERIAL
A method for producing a printed material includes providing pressure-induced phase transition particles on a recording medium having an arithmetic average roughness Ra of 0.07 μm or more and 3.80 μm or less to form a pressure-induced phase transition particle layer having a coverage C within a range of 30% to 90%; bonding the pressure-induced phase transition particles onto the recording medium; and folding the recording medium having the pressure-induced phase transition particles bonded thereon and pressure-bonding the folded recording medium, or pressure-bonding the recording medium having the pressure-induced phase transition particles bonded thereon and another recording medium placed on top of each other. The pressure-induced phase transition particles contain a styrene resin containing styrene and a vinyl monomer other than styrene as polymerization components, and a (meth)acrylic acid ester resin that contains at least two(meth)acrylic acid esters as polymerization components, and a mass ratio of the (meth)acrylic acid esters relative to a total of polymerization components of the (meth)acrylic acid ester resin is 90 mass % or more. The pressure-induced phase transition particles have at least two glass transition temperatures, and the difference between the lowest glass transition temperature and the highest glass transition temperature among the glass transition temperatures exhibited by the pressure-induced phase transition particles is 30° C. or more.
Method for producing articles having a metallic luster, and toners with a metallic luster using the same and a printing method using the same
A method for producing an article having a novel metal gloss which does not use a solvent when forming an article having metallic luster, and a toner for metallic luster color and a printing method using the same.
FIXING DEVICE
In a fixing device, a first fixing member and a second fixing member are configured to form a nip in combination, and an arm biased by a first spring with a first biasing force provides a nip pressure. A cam rotatably arranged to cause the arm to move against the first biasing force has a first cam surface used to change the nip pressure from a first pressure to a second pressure smaller than the first pressure, and a second cam surface of which an angle of action is greater than that of the first cam surface to change the nip pressure from the second pressure to a third pressure smaller than the second pressure. A maximum pressure angle at the second cam surface is smaller than a maximum pressure angle at the first cam surface.
Fixing method for regulating blade
A fixing method of fixing a regulating blade made of a resin to a mounting portion of a developing frame made of a resin so that the regulating blade is in non-contact with a developer carrying member, the fixing method including: imaging the mounting portion; determining a target value of a gap between the developer carrying member and the regulating blade based on characteristic information of a shape of the imaged mounting portion; giving, to the regulating blade, a force for deflecting the regulating blade to adjust a relative position of the regulating blade with respect to the developer carrying member that the gap falls within a predetermined range including the target value over a longitudinal direction of the developer carrying member; and fixing the regulating blade to the mounting portion in a state in which the regulating blade has been deflected and the gap falls within the predetermined range.
PRESSURE DEVICE, FIXING DEVICE, AND IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS
A pressure device presses against a pressed member. The pressure device includes a support shaft and a presser that pivots about the support shaft and presses against the pressed member. A mover moves the support shaft in an axial direction of the support shaft to move the presser in the axial direction of the support shaft in a state in which the presser presses against the pressed member.
FIXING DEVICE AND IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS
A fixing device includes a fixing member, a separation craw. The fixing member heats a toner image on a sheet while rotating around an axis. The separation claw comes into contact with a surface of the fixing member and separates the sheet from the surface of the fixing member. The separation claw has an opposing face facing the sheet. The opposing face has a tip end portion coming into contact with the surface of the fixing belt. The opposing face is formed to be asymmetry with respect to a conveyance direction along which the sheet is conveyed from the tip end portion.
IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS
An image forming apparatus includes an image carrying member, a charging device, an exposure device, a developing device, and a control section. The developing device includes a development container for containing a non-magnetic one-component developer composed only of a toner, a developer carrying member having an outer circumferential surface on which a toner layer is formed, and a regulation blade that regulates a thickness of the toner layer. The control section executes speed reduction control to reduce a rotation speed of the developer carrying member at a time of warming-up before image formation to a first speed lower than a reference speed at a time of the image formation. In the speed reduction control, the control section raises the rotation speed of the developer carrying member at a first acceleration rate until the first speed is reached from a state where rotation of the developer carrying member is stopped.
IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS
An image forming apparatus includes an image carrying member, a charging device, an exposure device, a developing device, a development voltage power supply, and a control section. The developing device includes a development container for containing a non-magnetic one-component developer composed only of a toner, a developer carrying member having an outer circumferential surface on which a toner layer is formed, and a toner supply member that supplies the toner to the developer carrying member. The control section performs control so that, as a cumulative drive time of the developing device increases, a supply voltage Vsdc becomes larger than a reference supply voltage and a development voltage Vdc becomes smaller than a reference development voltage, thus executing control to vary the development voltage Vdc and the supply voltage Vsdc so as to increase a potential difference VsdcVdc between the supply voltage Vsdc and the development voltage Vdc.
