Exposing device, method of manufacturing the same, and image forming apparatus
There is provided an exposing device which includes an elongated optical head in which a plurality of light emitting portions are arranged, and a supporting member to which the optical head is adhered. The optical head and the supporting member are adhered by a first adhesive, and a second adhesive of which a modulus of elasticity after curing is lower than that of the first adhesive. The second adhesive is applied in a second adhesive area which is located at a boundary between the optical head and the supporting member and which is longer, in a longitudinal direction of the optical head, than a first adhesive area which is located at the boundary and to which the first adhesive is applied.
Image forming apparatus
An image forming apparatus includes a rotatable image bearing member, an image forming portion, a transfer portion, a cleaning blade, and a controller configured to carry out control so as to execute a predetermined cleaning operation At least in a predetermined range of a leading end portion of the predetermined toner image with respect to a first direction which is a surface movement direction of the image bearing member, when the predetermined toner image is viewed per unit area of 1 mm in each of the first direction and a second direction perpendicular to the first direction, the predetermined toner image includes a plurality of print portions extending along a predetermined direction and formed at different positions with respect to the second direction, and the predetermined direction forms an angle of 30 or less between itself and the first direction.

Image forming apparatus having sheet bonding apparatus
A sheet bonding apparatus includes an applying portion, a fixing portion, a folding portion, and a bonding portion including a heating member and a non-heating member which oppose to each other and which are for bonding the sheet by nipping the sheet therebetween. Two regions opposing to each other when the folding portion folds a sheet are a first region and a second region. In a case that when the bonding portion bonds the folded sheet, the first region is positioned on a heating member side and the second region is positioned on a non-heating member side, the applying portion applies the powdery adhesive so that an application amount of the powdery adhesive on the sheet is smaller in the first region than in the second region.
Thermal transfer printing
A printing assembly for thermal transfer printing is disclosed. The assembly comprises at least one first printing system comprising a transfer member having an imaging surface on the front side, a coating station at which a monolayer of thermoplastic particles is applied to the imaging surface, an imaging station at which electromagnetic radiation (EM) is applied, optionally via the rear side of the transfer member, to selected regions of the imaging surface to render the particles coating the selected regions tacky, a transfer station at which only the regions of the particles coating that have been rendered tacky are transferred to a substrate to form an adhesive image; and at least one more downstream printing system. The transfer member includes on its front side an EM radiation absorbing layer, the imaging surface being formed on, or as part of, the absorbing layer, and on its rear side a body which can optionally be transparent to EM radiation.

Imaging device and imaging method thereof, and printer
An imaging device includes: M rotatable photosensitive drums, at least one display chip, at least one projection lens, and at least one beam deflection system. The light-receiving region of each photosensitive drum includes multiple light-receiving sub-regions. Each display chip includes at least two light-emitting regions arranged in a first direction. At least one projection lens is in one-to-one correspondence with the at least one display chip. Each projection lens is configured to form an image for a corresponding display chip. The at least one beam deflection system is in one-to-one correspondence with the at least one display chip. The beam deflection system is configured to deflect an image, which is formed by light from each light-emitting region in the display chip through a corresponding projection lens, to a corresponding light-receiving sub-region.
