Measuring device, image reading apparatus and image forming system for controlling movement of a sheet
A measuring device includes a first roller pair, a colorimetric unit, a second roller pair, a third roller pair, a motor, and a torque limiter. The third roller pair is driven at a first speed before a trailing end of the sheet with respect to a sheet feeding direction passes through the first roller pair and is driven at a second speed higher than the first speed after the trailing end of the sheet passes through the first roller pair. The first speed is set so as to be equal to the peripheral speed of the first roller pair. The second speed is set so as to be equal to a peripheral speed of the second roller pair in a state in which a slip of the torque limiter is not caused.
Image forming device
An image forming device includes an image carrier, a transfer member, a fixing device, a conveyance member, and a controller. The transfer member forms a transfer nip that transfers an image carried on the image carrier to a recording medium. The fixing device fixes the image on the recording medium. The conveyance member is located downstream of the transfer member in a conveyance direction of the recording medium and feeds the recording medium to the fixing device. The controller variably controls position of the conveyance member.

An information processing method comprising: exposing a correction image displayed on an image display device having a plurality of pixels to a photosensitive recording medium via a limiting member, the limiting member being provided between the image display device and an exposure surface of the photosensitive recording medium and limiting an angle of light emitted from the image display device to the photosensitive recording medium; acquiring recorded image data, which is data of a recorded image recorded on the photosensitive recording medium through the exposure of the correction image; and deriving a correction coefficient K for correcting a pixel value for each pixel of a display image for each pixel of the image display device based on the recorded image data such that the display image including unevenness of which brightness is complementary to unevenness that occur in the recorded image is displayed on the image display device.

An image forming apparatus includes an image forming portion, a transfer portion, a power source, a reading portion, and a controller. The controller executes an output operation so that first test images do not overlap with second test images, respectively, on a first side and a second side of a recording material. On the basis of information on the second test voltage for transfer of the second test image, of the plurality of second test images, of which information on a density read by the reading portion coincides with a preset condition, the controller sets a transfer voltage for image transfer onto the second side in double-side image formation so that an absolute value of the transfer voltage set for the image transfer onto the second side in the double-side image formation is larger than an absolute value of the second test voltage coincided with the preset condition.

An image reading apparatus connectable to a post-processing apparatus includes an image reading unit for transmitting image data to an inspection processing unit, and a communication unit for outputting a sheet discharge timing signal to the post-processing apparatus through a signal line. The communication unit outputs the sheet discharge timing signal having different waveforms to the post-processing apparatus on the basis of an inspection result of a sheet obtained from the inspection processing unit such that the sheet discharge timing signal includes a first waveform when the sheet determined by the inspection processing unit as that there is no image abnormality is discharged and such that the sheet discharge timing signal includes a second waveform different from the first waveform when the sheet determined by the inspection processing unit as that the image abnormality occurs is discharged.

An image forming system includes an image forming unit, an inspection unit, a conveyance unit configured to convey a sheet to the inspection unit, a controller configured to execute a first inspection mode in which a sheet having an image formed thereon is conveyed by the conveyance unit to the inspection unit and is inspected, and a second inspection mode in which, without executing image forming by the image forming unit, a sheet is conveyed by the conveyance unit to the inspection unit and is inspected, and a setting unit configured to set a recovery process. The setting unit permits the setting of the recovery process in the first inspection mode and prohibits the setting of the recovery process in the second inspection mode.

An image forming apparatus includes an image forming unit to form an image onto a sheet based on an image forming condition, a conveyance roller to convey the sheet in a first conveyance path, a sheet discharger to discharge the sheet conveyed in the first conveyance path, and a sensor to read, in a second conveyance path branched from the first conveyance path, a test image formed on the sheet. In addition, a tray receives the sheet discharged via the second conveyance path, and a controller generates the image forming condition based on a reading result of the sensor. The controller executes first control of controlling the image forming unit to form a first test image and second control of controlling the image forming unit to form a second test image.

An image reading apparatus connectable to an image forming apparatus includes a feeding roller pair configured to nip and feed a sheet discharged from the image forming apparatus, a contact image sensor configured to read an image on a first surface of the sheet fed by the feeding roller pair, a light-transmissive plate provided opposed to the contact image sensor and having a light-transmission property, a first roller opposing the light-transmissive plate with a gap therebetween on a side opposite from the contact image sensor with respect to the light-transmissive plat, and a second roller positioned upstream of the first roller with respect to a sheet feeding direction and opposing the light-transmissive plate with a gap therebetween on the same side as the first roller.
