Provided is a sheet conveying apparatus provided with: a rocker switch; a plurality of connectors each connected to two terminals; an outer cover; and a housing portion, wherein the connector among the plurality of connectors which is positioned farthest from the center of the rocker switch in the parallel direction of the two terminals protrudes toward an end portion of the end surface of the rocker switch which is on the connector side, and wherein a wall portion of the housing portion is disposed in a position opposing an end portion on the opposite side from the end portion in the parallel direction and in a position closer, in the direction of insertion of the plurality of connectors into the two terminals, to the rocker switch than the end surfaces of the plurality of connectors on the opposite side from the side where the rocker switch is disposed.
Image forming apparatus and paper feed system
An image forming apparatus includes a paper feed device and an image forming apparatus main body including a paper feed cassette removable from the image forming apparatus main body and including an image forming unit. The paper feed cassette stores a recording material, and the image forming unit forms an image on the recording material. The paper feed device allows the image forming apparatus main body to be stacked on the paper feed device below the paper feed cassette. The paper feed device is provided with a coupling section. In a space formed in a case where the paper feed cassette is removed from the image forming apparatus main body, the coupling section is fixed to the image forming apparatus main body by a fixing unit to couple the image forming apparatus main body and the paper feed device together.

The first cassette includes a first accommodating container and a first cover. The second cassette includes a second accommodating container and a second cover. The first leg is disposed to extend to the conveyance path and abut against the sheet being conveyed along the conveyance path. The second leg has a reflective surface crossing a path of the space propagating energy. The actuator is pivoted by abutment of the sheet against the first leg. The reflective surface is formed so that the reflected energy obtained by the reflection of the space propagating energy on the reflective surface enters the receiver regardless of an angle of pivotal movement of the actuator.

An image forming apparatus including: a sheet feeding roller which feeds a sheet accumulated on a tray; and a hardware processor which: detects a movement speed of the sheet currently fed by the sheet feeding roller; and calculates a difference amount between the movement speed and a first reference speed, and determines a life of the sheet feeding roller based on the difference amount, wherein the hardware processor determines whether or not to use the movement speed of a first sheet for life determination based on a relationship between the movement speed of the first sheet and the movement speed of a sheet fed before the first sheet, and if the hardware processor determines not to use the movement speed of the first sheet for the life determination, the hardware processor calculates the difference amount by excluding the movement speed of the first sheet.
