ELECTROPHOTOGRAPHIC PHOTOSENSITIVE MEMBER, PROCESS CARTRIDGE AND ELECTROPHOTOGRAPHIC IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS
It is an object of the present invention to provide an electrophotographic photosensitive member capable of suppressing the environmental fluctuation in the electrical characteristics. The present invention provides the electrophotographic photosensitive member in which the surface layer contains the compound having the specific structure.
Process cartridge
A process cartridge including: an electrophotographic photosensitive member having a drum shape; a developing unit for developing an electrostatic latent image on the surface of the electrophotographic photosensitive member with toner; and a cleaning blade for removing the toner on the surface of the electrophotographic photosensitive member, the cleaning blade being in contact with the electrophotographic photosensitive member, wherein the electrophotographic photosensitive member comprises wrinkles on the surface of the electrophotographic photosensitive member, and wherein the toner has a fluidity torque E of 320 mJ or more.
PHOTOSENSITIVE DRUM UNIT, ASSEMBLING METHOD THEREFOR, AND DISASSEMBLING METHOD THEREFOR
A photosensitive drum unit to which a coupling member 200 is easily mounted is provided. A drum flange 250 is fixed to one end portion of a cylinder 20A having a photosensitive layer at a peripheral surface. The coupling member 200 is inserted into the drum flange 250. Finally, a closing member 230 is mounted to the drum flange 250.
SLIDING BEARING, DRIVING DEVICE, AND IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS
A sliding bearing is made of a resin and includes a tubular portion that includes an outer peripheral surface including a D-cut surface. A flange portion, which protrudes from the D-cut surface, is formed at one end portion of the tubular portion. An engagement portion is formed at the other end portion of the tubular portion. A protruding portion is formed on the outer peripheral surface of the tubular portion at a circumferential position that is outside a region in which the D-cut surface is formed and that is outside a region in which the engagement portion is formed.
ROLLER, ROTATING MEMBER UNIT, CARTRIDGE, AND IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS
A cylindrical shaft of a roller has facing surfaces which form a depression-protrusion-shaped portion of a joint of the cylindrical shaft and which face or make contact with each other and moreover which extend in a direction non-parallel to an axial direction of the cylindrical shaft, and the facing surfaces are inclined at a predetermined engagement angle with respect to a circumferential direction. A generating line of a circumferential surface of a coating layer that coats an outer circumference of the cylindrical shaft and a generating line of a circumferential surface of a photosensitive drum cross each other at a crossing angle smaller than the engagement angle.
Processing cartridge, photoreceptor drum unit, and end member pair
A photoreceptor drum unit is provided with a cylindrical photoreceptor drum, and two end members which are respectively disposed at both ends of the photoreceptor drum in an axial direction. One of the end members is provided with an elastic member, is biased in the axial direction, and is extendable and contractable. The other of the end members is provided with a cylindrical bearing member and a shaft member held in the bearing member.
PHOTOSENSITIVE DRUM UNIT AND IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS
A photosensitive drum unit includes a photosensitive drum, a drum shaft, a resin frame, and a conducting member. The drum shaft is inserted through the photosensitive drum. The resin frame supports opposite ends of the drum shaft. The conducting member is a substantially coil-shaped spring member having a first end adjacent to the resin frame and a second end opposite to the first end. The conducting member is tapered from the first end toward the second end. The first end forms a first opening and the second end forms a second opening. A circle inscribed in the second opening has a diameter larger than an outer diameter of the drum shaft.
Electrophotographic photoreceptor, image forming apparatus, and image forming process
An electrophotographic photoreceptor includes an intermediate layer, a photosensitive layer, and a surface protective layer, deposited in this order on an electroconductive support. The surface protective layer includes a resin and a p-type semiconductor microparticle contained in the resin. The intermediate layer includes a resin and at least one metal oxide microparticle contained in the resin. The at least one metal oxide microparticle is selected from the group consisting of untreated tin oxide particles, tin oxide particles surface-treated with organic compounds, untreated anatase titanium oxide particles, anatase titanium oxide particles surface-treated with organic compounds, untreated rutile titanium oxide particles, and rutile titanium oxide particles surface-treated with organic compounds.
DRUM UNIT, IMAGE FORMING UNIT AND IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS
A drum unit includes a photosensitive drum and a cleaning member. A scratch remaining depth measured by a scratch test of the photosensitive drum under a following Test Condition 1 is 110 nm or less. Test Condition 1 is; test environment temperature=25° C.; test environment humidity=50%; test indenter=pre-mount type Berkovich indenter; scratch direction=horizontal direction; scratch speed=20 μm/sec; initial load=0 mN; maximum reaching load=4 mN; and load at the time of measuring the scratch remaining depth=1.9 mN.
AXIALLY SHIFTING A PHOTOCONDUCTIVE DRUM USING A CAM
A photoconductor unit for an electrophotographic image forming device according to one example embodiment includes a housing and a photoconductive drum rotatably mounted on the housing. A cam is mounted on the housing and has a cam surface that is positioned to contact a corresponding locating surface. The cam surface has a variable height in an axial direction of the photoconductive drum such that as a position of the cam changes relative to the housing, the photoconductive drum shifts in the axial direction relative to the locating surface.
