ELECTROPHOTOGRAPHIC IMAGE FORMING SYSTEM
An electrophotographic image forming system forms an electrostatic latent image on at least a photoreceptor, develops an image using an electrostatic charge image developing toner, and removes the toner using a cleaning blade. A tip ridge of the cleaning blade is pressed against a surface of the photoreceptor. The system includes a photosensitive layer of the photoreceptor and a surface protecting layer that is provided on a surface of the photosensitive layer. The surface protecting layer includes a polymerizable monomer having at least two polymerizable groups in a molecule and a polymer of a hole transporting compound having a polymerizable group represented by General formula (1). The tip ridge of the cleaning blade has an edge angle that is obtuse and less than 120° and is pressed against the surface of the photoreceptor at an effective contact angle that is in a range of 8 to 20°.

CLEANING DEVICE AND IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS
In accordance with a first aspect of the present disclosure, a cleaning device includes a conveying member and a plurality of scraping pieces. The conveying member has a rotating shaft and a spiral blade formed around the rotating shaft. The conveying member is configured to be rotated around an axis to convey a toner removed from an image carrier in a direction of the axis. The plurality of scraping pieces are arranged in the direction of the axis. The plurality of scraping pieces are configured to be turnable so as to alternately come into contact with the rotating shaft and the spiral blade to scrape the toner adhered on the rotating shaft. A width of the scraping piece in the direction of the axis is equal to or below ½ of a gap between the adjacently arranged scraping pieces in the direction of the axis.
Cleaning device and image forming apparatus capable of suppressing unevenness in contact pressure of an elastic member
A cleaning device includes a cleaner that cleans a body to be cleaned, wherein the cleaner includes: an elastic member in which a contact portion in contact with the body to be cleaned is formed in an uneven shape continuous in a predetermined direction; and a support member that supports the elastic member, and the cleaner is configured so that a contact pressure of the elastic member to the body to be cleaned is constant in the predetermined direction.
IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS, DEVELOPER USED THEREBY, AND IMAGE FORMING METHOD
An image forming apparatus (1) includes an image bearing member (50), a charging section (51), a developing section (52), and a cleaning member (81). The image bearing member (50) contains filler particles (87). The charging section (51) is either in contact with or positioned close to the image bearing member (50) and is configured to electrically charge the image bearing member (50) by generating a proximity discharge between the charging section (51) and the image bearing member (50). The developing section (52) supplies toner to the circumferential surface of the charged image bearing member (50). The cleaning member (81) has a degree of hardness equal to or higher than 65° and a degree of impact resilience equal to or lower than 30%. The cleaning member (81) is brought into pressure contact with the circumferential surface of the image bearing member (50) being rotated, by applying linear pressure equal to or higher than 15 gf/cm.
