Image formation apparatus including lubricant application apparatus and recording medium
An image formation apparatus having a lubricant application apparatus applying lubricant to an image carrier in an image former, in which the lubricant application apparatus includes: a lubricant stick; an application member disposed on an upstream side in an advancing direction of the image carrier surface with respect to a cleaning apparatus pressing lubricant supplied to the image carrier to form a film, supplying lubricant scraped off from the lubricant stick to the image carrier, and removing residual toner adhering to the image carrier; and a recovery member in contact with the application member, and recovering toner adhering to the application member, and the image formation apparatus includes a hardware processor controlling a lubricant amount on the image carrier by changing each of removability of residual toner on the image carrier by the application member, and recoverability of residual toner on the application member by the recovery member.
CLEANING DEVICE FOR THE SURFACE OF A CYLINDER OF A PRINTER AND/OR COPIER
A cleaning device for a surface of a cylinder of a printer and/or a copier includes a cylindrical cleaning element which can be rotated by at least one drive and which includes a cleaning fitting on its outer periphery, and a suction or suctioner conducting at least one suction medium with at least one suction channel aligned towards the outer periphery of the cleaning element and extending along the longitudinal alignment of the cleaning element. In order to achieve a simple technical structure and a low maintenance effort apart from a good cleaning result and reliable dirt removal, a suction slit extending longitudinally of the suction channel is aligned towards the cleaning element opens into the suction channel tangentially to the suction channel cross section.
Cleaning member, charging device, and image forming apparatus
A cleaning member includes plural bristles including tips that come into contact with an object to be cleaned having a surface including recesses and projections; and a brush base to which the bristles are attached. The bristles each have a non-circular cross-section including a projecting portion that projects toward an outer periphery, at least the projecting portion having a size such that the projecting portion is capable of entering the recesses in the object to be cleaned.
Image forming apparatus controlling condition of charging brush
An image forming apparatus includes a rotatable photosensitive member, a charging member, a developing device, a transfer member, a brush, a driving source and a control portion. The control portion controls the driving source to execute an image forming process in which image formation on the recording material is executed and a non-image-forming process in which the photosensitive member is driven to rotate other than in the image forming process. The non-image-forming process between a first recording material and a second recording material, to which the image formation is executed following the first recording material, is defined as a first non-image-forming process, and the non-image-forming process between the second recording material and a third recording material is defined as a second non-image-forming process. The control portion determines a time of the second non-image-forming process based on history information correlating with a usage amount of the photosensitive member and a time of the first non-image-forming process.
IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS
An image forming apparatus includes a rotatable cylindrical component to be cleaned, and a bar brush having a base substrate and bristles. The base substrate of the bar brush is located at a fixed position relative to the component to be cleaned. The bristles extend from the base substrate to contact the component to be cleaned. The bristles have free ends that form a tip end surface of the bar brush. The tip end surface has a curved shape that conforms with a surface of the component, when the bristles are not in contact with the surface to be cleaned.
Cleaning device and image forming apparatus including the same
There is provided a cleaning device in which both sidewalls of a scraper holding unit are formed so that a center line between both the sidewalls of the scraper holding unit is directed substantially toward the center of a fur brush.
Image forming apparatus and control method of adjusting cleaner brush polarities of cleaning unit of image forming apparatus
An image forming apparatus includes: an image carrier that carries a toner image; a cleaning unit that collects a toner on the image carrier; and a hardware processor that controls the cleaning unit, wherein the cleaning unit includes a first cleaner brush and a second cleaner brush that remove the toner from the image carrier, and the hardware processor applies bias voltages having opposite polarities to the first cleaner brush and the second cleaner brush, and determines whether life is ended with respect to each of the first cleaner brush and the second cleaner brush.
Image forming apparatus having a cleaning device for a transfer belt and a pre-cleaning brush
An image forming apparatus includes a transfer belt, a cleaning device that sweeps off toner remaining on a transfer surface of the transfer belt by using a rotary brush, electrically adsorbs the toner swept by a recovery roller, and removes the toner, a pre-cleaning brush that slidably contacts with the transfer surface of the transfer belt at an upstream side in a belt rotation direction from the cleaning device, and a support member that supports the pre-cleaning brush. A support wall of the support member is formed with openings that liberate foreign matters such as toner and paper powder deposited onto the pre-cleaning brush.
Electrophotographic image forming device
A electrophotographic image forming device using an organic photoreceptor, includes a plurality of image forming units each including at least: an electrostatic latent image former; a developer; a lubricant supplier; and a cleaner including a cleaning blade and a cleaning assist brush, wherein at least one combination composed of two adjacent image forming units including toners having different colors satisfies the following formula (1) if a ratio of a circumferential speed of the cleaning assist brush with respect to a circumferential speed of an organic photoreceptor included in an image forming unit A is represented by 1 and a ratio of a circumferential speed of the cleaning assist brush with respect to a circumferential speed of an organic photoreceptor included in an image forming unit B is represented by 2.

Image forming apparatus
An image forming apparatus includes a rotatable image bearing member, a developing member to develop an electrostatic latent image at a developing portion, a transfer member to transfer a developer image to a recording member at a transfer portion; and a brush provided with a plurality of base materials contacting the image bearing member at downstream of the transfer portion and upstream of the developing portion in a rotational direction of the image bearing member. The developer remaining on the surface of the image bearing member is collected in the developing portion. An average distance between base materials of the brush with respect to a rotational axis direction of the image bearing member is larger than an average particle diameter of the developer, and is equal to or less than a length corresponding to a spatial frequency visually recognizable by a user when the image formed by the image forming apparatus is observed by the user.
