IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS
A drum cleaner cleans a circumferential surface of a photosensitive drum. A toner pipe allows passage of toner that is recovered from the drum cleaner to a toner container. The toner pipe has a discharge port configured to discharge toner in the toner pipe. The toner container includes a toner discharge port, a toner reception port, and a toner conveyor. The toner discharge port discharges toner in the toner container. The toner reception port receives toner discharged from the discharge port of the toner pipe. The toner conveyor conveys toner from the toner reception port toward the toner discharge port. A development housing includes a development reception port and a development discharge port. The development reception port receives toner discharged from the toner discharge port. The development discharge port discharges, to the toner pipe, toner that is retuned from the development housing to the toner container.
WASTE TONER TRANSPORT UNIT AND IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS
A waste toner transport unit includes a waste toner transport path through which waste toner removed from a circumferential surface of an image carrier is transported, a transport member that transports the waste toner along the waste toner transport path, and a movement restrictor that restricts the movement of the waste toner in a process of waste toner transportation. The waste toner transport path includes an area in which an inner bottom surface is inclined and the area constitutes the movement restrictor. The transport member is disposed such that a rotation shaft extends along the inclined inner bottom surface.
POWDER CONVEYING DEVICE AND IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS INCORPORATING SAME
A powder conveying device includes a first conveyor, a first conveyance passage, a fall passage, a second conveyor, and a second conveyance passage. The first conveyor conveys powder in a substantially horizontal direction and is disposed in the first conveyance passage. The powder output from an outlet port of the first conveyance passage is to fall in the fall passage. The second conveyor conveys the powder in the substantially horizontal direction and is disposed in the second conveyance passage that has an inlet port to receive the powder falling in the fall passage. When viewed in a cross section orthogonal to a powder conveyance direction, a cross-sectional area of a space that is not occupied by the first conveyor in the first conveyance passage is larger than a cross-sectional area of a space that is not occupied by the second conveyor in the second conveyance passage.

A toner container includes a first rotation member rotatably provided in a container main body, a stirring member rotatably provided in such a way as to be parallel to the first rotation member, a lid member closing an opening portion of the container main body, a first bearing portion provided on an inner surface of the lid member and rotatably supporting a first end portion of a first rotation shaft of the first rotation member, a stirring bearing portion provided on the inner surface of the lid member and rotatably supporting a lid-side end portion of a stirring rotation shaft of the stirring member, a storage concave portion formed on the lid member and recessed from an outer surface of the lid member inward, and a transmission mechanism provided in the storage concave portion to transmit a rotation of the first rotation shaft to the stirring rotation shaft.

A toner container is elongated. A first rotating member is rotatably provided in a first toner storage portion and extends in a depth direction of a container main body. A first drive input portion is provided at an end of a first rotation shaft included in the first rotating member and configured to receive a driving force. A second rotating member rotatably provided in a second toner storage portion and extends in the depth direction. A second drive input portion is provided at an end of a second rotation shaft included in the second rotating member and configured to receive a driving force. The container main body includes a plate-like coupling member coupling a first housing of the first toner storage portion with a second housing of the second toner storage portion.
Image forming apparatus with removable waste toner container and exposable feeding path
An image forming apparatus includes a chassis having an opening, a cover, photosensitive members, an intermediate transfer belt, a primary-transfer member, a secondary-transfer roller, a cleaner device, an external-sheet inlet, a waste toner container, a connector, and a conveying roller, which is arranged within the feeding path to feed the recording sheet inserted through the external-sheet inlet in the feeding path. The conveying roller is mounted on the waste toner container and removable from the chassis along with the waste toner container.
Image forming apparatus
An image forming apparatus, including a body with an aperture, a processing unit movable between an inside position and an outside position, and a transfer unit, is provided. The processing unit includes first and second drum cleaners to remove waste toner from first and second photosensitive drums respectively; and a waste toner conveyer including a conveyer tube longitudinally extending in a movable direction of the processing unit, a port, a conveyer screw located inside the conveyer tube, and a shutter movable between an opening position and a closed position to open and close the port. The transfer unit includes a belt unit with a belt arranged to contact the first photosensitive drum and the second photosensitive drum, and a belt cleaner including a container with an opening which communicates with the port of the conveyer tube when the processing unit is in the inside position.
Toner container, image forming apparatus
A toner container includes a container main body, a rotation member, a flat plate-like lid member, a rib member, and a film member. The rotation member is rotatably provided in the container main body and extends in a depth direction of the container main body. The lid member closes an opening portion of the container main body in the depth direction. The rib member is provided on an inner surface of the lid member in such a way as to be located adjacent to the rotation member with a predetermined gap from the rotation member, and positions the lid member with respect to the opening portion. The film member is attached to the housing of the container main body such that one surface of the film member contacts the rib member and an opposite surface of the film member contacts an outer circumferential surface of the rotation member.
Processing apparatus for powder discharge recovery
A processing apparatus including an apparatus housing, powder processing unit for processing powder, a powder recovery unit for recovering discharged powder, a powder discharge unit for transporting and discharging the powder to a discharge portion to be recovered, and a powder receiver. The powder recovery unit is attached to the apparatus housing and the power receiver is positioned below the powder recovery unit on the same side of the apparatus housing that the powder recovery unit is attached to the apparatus housing. When the powder recovery unit is detached from the apparatus housing, the powder receiving unit receives powder discharge falling from the discharge portion.
REMAINING TONER CONVEYING APPARATUS AND IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS
Provided is a remaining toner conveying apparatus including a cleaning blade which recovers a toner remaining on a surface of a photosensitive drum and a conveying screw which conveys the remaining toner so that a conveyance amount per predetermined time in a first conveyance path conveying the remaining toner recovered by the cleaning blade to a discharge portion for discharging the remaining toner is equal to or less than a conveyance amount in a second conveyance path in a downstream side in a conveyance direction where the conveyance path is narrower than the first conveyance path.
