An image forming apparatus includes a plurality of light sources, a light source control unit that controls turning on and off of the plurality of light sources, a first detection unit that detects an accumulated amount of waste toner with respect to the total capacity of the first waste toner container, and a second detection unit that detects an accumulated amount of waste toner with respect to the total capacity of the second waste toner container. The light source control unit turns on one of the plurality of light sources, based on detection results of the first detection unit and the second detection unit.

An image forming apparatus includes a plurality of light sources, a light source control unit that controls turning on and off of the plurality of light sources, a first detection unit that detects an accumulated amount of waste toner with respect to the total capacity of the first waste toner container, and a second detection unit that detects an accumulated amount of waste toner with respect to the total capacity of the second waste toner container. A toner conveying device includes a toner conveying section and a toner conveyor. The toner conveying section includes a bent portion and an outlet port. The bent portion bends in a predetermined direction. The outlet port discharges toner. The toner conveyor is bendable and driven by a driving device to rotate to convey toner. The toner conveyor is disposed in the toner conveying section such that a first end of the toner conveyor is coupled to the driving device and a second end of the toner conveyor is a free end. The toner conveyor includes a reverse-flow conveying portion, between the outlet port and the free end, to convey the toner from the second end to the first end.

A toner conveying device includes a toner conveying section and a toner conveyor. The toner conveying section includes a bent portion and an outlet port. The bent portion bends in a predetermined direction. The outlet port discharges toner. The toner conveyor is bendable and driven by a driving device to rotate to convey toner. The toner conveyor is disposed in the toner conveying section such that a first end of the toner conveyor is coupled to the driving device and a second end of the toner conveyor is a free end. The toner conveyor includes a reverse-flow conveying portion, between the outlet port and the free end, to convey the toner from the second end to the first end.

An image forming apparatus to and from which a replenishment container accommodating toner is attachable includes a replenishment port to allow replenishment of toner from the replenishment container, which is arranged outside of the image forming apparatus, to a developer container therethrough in a state where the replenishment container is attached to the replenishment port, an opening/closing portion to open and close the replenishment port, and a locking member to move between a restricting position in which the locking member restricts movement of the opening/closing portion from the closed position to the open position, and an allowing position in which the movement of the opening/closing portion from the closed position to the open position is allowed. A controller maintains, when the replenishment container is attached to the replenishment port, the locking member in the restricting position in a case where a lifetime of the cartridge is less than a threshold.

An image forming apparatus to and from which a replenishment container accommodating toner is attachable includes a replenishment port to allow replenishment of toner from the replenishment container, which is arranged outside of the image forming apparatus, to a developer container therethrough in a state where the replenishment container is attached to the replenishment port, an opening/closing portion to open and close the replenishment port, and a locking member to move between a restricting position in which the locking member restricts movement of the opening/closing portion from the closed position to the open position, and an allowing position in which the movement of the opening/closing portion from the closed position to the open position is allowed. A controller maintains, when the replenishment container is attached to the replenishment port, the locking member in the restricting position in a case where a lifetime of the cartridge is less than a threshold.

A processing apparatus including an apparatus housing, powder processing unit for processing powder, a powder recovery unit for recovering discharged powder, a powder discharge unit for transporting and discharging the powder to a discharge portion to be recovered, and a powder receiver. The powder recovery unit is attached to the apparatus housing and the power receiver is positioned below the powder recovery unit on the same side of the apparatus housing that the powder recovery unit is attached to the apparatus housing. When the powder recovery unit is detached from the apparatus housing, the powder receiving unit receives powder discharge falling from the discharge portion.

A processing apparatus including an apparatus housing, powder processing unit for processing powder, a powder recovery unit for recovering discharged powder, a powder discharge unit for transporting and discharging the powder to a discharge portion to be recovered, and a powder receiver. The powder recovery unit is attached to the apparatus housing and the power receiver is positioned below the powder recovery unit on the same side of the apparatus housing that the powder recovery unit is attached to the apparatus housing. When the powder recovery unit is detached from the apparatus housing, the powder receiving unit receives powder discharge falling from the discharge portion.

A drawer is moveable between an inner position and an outer position through an opening when a cover is located at an opening position. A waste toner conveying tube is movable in a second direction between a first connection position and a first disconnection position when a drum cartridge is attached to a drawer and the drawer is at the inner position. When the cover moves from a closing position toward the opening position, the waste toner conveying tube moves from the first connection position toward the first disconnection position in conjunction with the movement of the cover. The drawer is movable from the inner position toward to the outer position when the drum cartridge is attached to the drawer, the drawer is at the inner position, and the waste toner conveying tube is at the first disconnection position.

A drawer is moveable between an inner position and an outer position through an opening when a cover is located at an opening position. A waste toner conveying tube is movable in a second direction between a first connection position and a first disconnection position when a drum cartridge is attached to a drawer and the drawer is at the inner position. When the cover moves from a closing position toward the opening position, the waste toner conveying tube moves from the first connection position toward the first disconnection position in conjunction with the movement of the cover. The drawer is movable from the inner position toward to the outer position when the drum cartridge is attached to the drawer, the drawer is at the inner position, and the waste toner conveying tube is at the first disconnection position.
