A toner cartridge includes a toner storage portion configured to store toner to be supplied to the photosensitive drum. A drum cartridge includes a toner cartridge guide extending in a second direction crossing a first direction. The toner cartridge guide guides the toner cartridge to move in the second direction when the toner cartridge is being attached to the drum cartridge. A distance from the toner cartridge guide to the drum cover at the second position is longer than a distance from the toner cartridge guide to the drum cover at the first position.

An image forming apparatus includes an apparatus main assembly, a controller provided in the apparatus main assembly, an operating portion mounted to the apparatus main assembly, a cable configured to electrically connect the controller and the operating portion, the cable having a connectable length with the operating portion mounted at a predetermined position, and an accommodating portion provided in the apparatus main assembly and configured to accommodate an excessive length portion of the cable connected with the operating portion mounted to the apparatus main assembly, the accommodating portion including a space for accommodating the cable in a wound state.

The main body is configured to discharge a recording material on which an image is formed with the toner onto a discharge tray. The image forming apparatus also includes a toner supply port on which a supply container is mounted to supply toner to a toner containing portion of the development unit. The image forming apparatus further includes a non-contact communication portion including an antenna and configured to receive a signal for user authentication. The discharge tray, the toner supply port, and the non-contact communication portion are provided at an upper portion of the main body. The non-contact communication portion is provided outside the discharge tray when the main body is viewed from above.

An image-forming device includes a main casing, a belt accommodated in the main casing, developing units arranged along the belt, a drawer configured to detachably support the developing units, the drawer configured to move to a position inside the main casing and to a position outside the main casing, and the drawer having a leading end and a trailing end in a pulling direction from the inside position to the outside position; and a guide configured to guide the drawer and to move between a first position and a second position when the drawer is at the inside position, the second position being farther from the belt than the first position from the belt. When the guide is at the second position, the guide is configured to be tilted downward relative to a horizontal direction such that the leading end is lower than the trailing end.

An image forming apparatus includes a transport belt, a first intermediate transfer belt, and a second intermediate transfer belt. The transport belt is disposed along a transport path extending in a vertical direction. The transport belt is configured to transport a recording medium while coming into contact with one surface of the recording medium. The first intermediate transfer belt is configured to sandwich the recording medium together with the transport belt. An image is transferred from the first intermediate transfer belt to the recording medium. The second intermediate transfer belt is disposed above the first intermediate transfer belt. The second intermediate transfer belt is configured to sandwich, together with the transport belt, the recording medium which is in a state where the recording medium is sandwiched between the first intermediate transfer belt and the transport belt. An image being transferred from the second intermediate transfer belt to the recording medium.

An image forming apparatus includes an operating section. The operating section projects forward from an upper housing of the image forming apparatus. The operating section includes an input section and a display section. The input section is for receiving input of image forming information. The display section is disposed adjacent to the input section and displays the image forming information thereon. A position of the display section is switchable between a first position and a second position. The first position is where the display section is flush with the input section. The second position is where the display section is tilted forward more than the input section, by turning the display section on a front edge side of the display section as a pivot to raise a rear edge side of the display section upward from the first position.

An image forming apparatus includes a casing; a process unit for forming a developer image on a sheet; an image exposing unit; a sheet cassette detachably mounted to the casing; a feeding roller for single the sheet from the cassette; a feeding guide provided in the casing and configured to guide the sheet moving from the cassette to the process unit. The exposing unit is disposed right above the feeding roller. The process unit is at a position the same position as the exposing unit in the vertical direction and downstream of the exposing unit in a horizontal direction. The cassette is below the feeding roller. The guide is between the exposing unit and the cassette in the vertical direction. The guide includes upper and lower guides. When the cassette is drawn out of the casing, the lower guide moves to an accommodating portion in the cassette.

An image forming apparatus is provided. The image forming apparatus includes a main body; a first unit detachably attachable to the main body; a second unit which is arranged adjacent to the first unit and which is detachably attachable to the main body; and a cover which is located on the front side of the second unit relative to the detaching direction of the first and second units while supported by the second unit and which is openable and closable, wherein opening the cover permits detaching of the first unit from the main body and attaching of the first unit to the main body.

An image forming device includes first and second discharge rollers, and first and second covers. The first cover is pivotally movable between first closing and opening positions about a first pivot axis. In the first opening position, the first cover supports a sheet from the first discharge roller. The second cover is pivotally movable between second closing and opening positions about a second pivot axis. In the second opening position, the second cover guides a sheet from the second discharge roller. In the first closing position, one end portion of the first cover is farther from the second cover. In the second closing position, another end portion of the second cover is farther from the first cover. The first pivot axis is at the one end portion of the first cover. The second pivot axis is at the another end portion of the second cover.
