CARD PROCESSING DEVICE
A card processing device may include a print unit and a card inverting unit that inverts front/rear of the card. The print unit may include a thermal head and a card conveyance mechanism. The card inverting unit may include a card holding part, a card drawing and feeding mechanism, and a rotating mechanism that rotates the card holding part. A conveyance path may be provided inside the card holding part. The conveyance path may be linear. The card drawing and feeding mechanism may include two drive rollers, and two pad rollers. A distance between a center of the drive roller and a center of the thermal head may be shorter than a length of the card. The thermal head may print on the card while the card conveyance mechanism conveys the card. The rotating mechanism may rotate the card holding part such that the conveyance path is inclined.
UNIT ACCOMMODATION APPARATUS AND IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS
A unit accommodation apparatus includes a first unit and a second unit that are to be installed into and removed from an apparatus body through an opening in an installation-removal direction and are held by a unit holder. The unit holder includes a first positioner that is disposed opposite one lateral end of the first unit and the second unit and is detachably attached to the first unit and the second unit. A second positioner is disposed opposite another lateral end of the first unit and the second unit and holds the first unit and the second unit in a state in which the first unit and the second unit are detachably attached to the second positioner. The first positioner and the second positioner secure a relative position of the first unit relative to the second unit in a direction parallel to a hypothetical orthogonal plane perpendicular to the installation-removal direction.

An image forming apparatus includes the following: an image forming portion; a first metal side plate and a second metal side plate provided opposite each other with respect to the image forming portion; an antenna for communicating with external equipment; a housing including a top cover that is provided above the first metal side plate and the second metal side plate in a vertical direction, and a side cover that is provided on an outer side opposite to an inner side where the image forming portion is provided with respect to the first metal side plate, wherein the image forming apparatus further includes a support member provided on the first metal side plate, the support member including a housing support portion that supports at least one of the top cover and the side cover, and an antenna support portion that supports the antenna.

A developing cartridge includes: a casing; a developing roller; a shaft extending in a first direction; a first inclined surface; a second inclined surface; an elastic member; and a first protrusion. The shaft is movable in the first direction relative to the casing and the developing roller, and is movable in the second direction together with the same. The first inclined surface is positioned at one end portion of the shaft, while the second inclined surface is positioned at another end portion of the shaft. The first and second inclined surfaces are inclined relative to the first direction. The first protrusion is movable in the first direction together with the second inclined surface. The shaft is movable from a first position to a second position when the second inclined surface receives a pressing force directed in a direction from the another end portion to the one end portion.
SHEET CONVEYOR DEVICE AND IMAGE FORMING SYSTEM
A sheet conveyor device is to be attachably and detachably mounted to an external apparatus which forms an image on a sheet. The sheet conveyor device includes a judgement section, a speed determining section, and a conveyance controller. The judgement section determines which of a plurality of model groups the external apparatus belongs to based on specification information indicating specifications of the external apparatus. The speed determining section determines a conveyance speed at which the sheet is to be conveyed based on the determined model group. The conveyance controller directs conveyance of the sheet at the determined conveyance speed.
PRINT ENGINE AND ACCESSORY MATING
An accessory mating system for mating a print engine to an accessory may include a pin and a pin receiving detent. The pin has a collar having a pin vertical axis datum surface and a shaft extending from the collar. The shaft provides left-right axis datum surfaces and second opposite sides providing fore-aft axis datum surfaces. The pin receiving detent receives the pin. The pin receiving detent may include a detent perimeter providing a detent vertical axis datum surface, first opposite internal sides providing first detent left-right axis datum surfaces facing the pin left-right axis datum surfaces and second opposite internal sides providing detent fore-aft axis datum surfaces.
IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS INCLUDING OPTICAL PRINT HEAD
Provided are: a photosensitive drum rotatable with respect to an apparatus body; an optical print head that exposes the photosensitive drum to light in response to a drive signal from a controller provided in the apparatus body and is inserted and removed in a rotational axis direction of the photosensitive drum from a front side of the apparatus body by an operator; a front plate that forms a part of the housing of the apparatus body on the front side of the apparatus body and is formed with an opening through which the optical print head to be inserted into and removed from the apparatus body passes; a cable that has one end connected to the optical print head and is wired along the optical print head toward the front side of the apparatus body in a state where the optical print head is mounted to the apparatus body; and a connector which is arranged so as to have at least a part located on an outer side of the opening and to which another end of the cable is connected to be detachably attachable in order to transmit the drive signal from the controller to the optical print head.
Image forming apparatus
An image forming apparatus includes a main body, a post-printing processing device, and a paper exit part. The main body forms an image on paper. The post-printing processing device is located above the main body and performs post-printing processing on paper. The paper exit part is located on a side surface of the post-printing processing device. Paper is ejected to the paper exit part. The post-printing processing device includes a paper inlet port and a conveyance device. The paper inlet port is located in a rear part of a lower surface of the post-printing processing device. The conveyance device conveys paper conveyed via the paper inlet port into the post-printing processing device in a forward direction thereof to a paper loading tray and conveys the paper therefrom leftward to eject the paper to the paper exit part located on the left side of the post-printing processing device.
FEEDING APPARATUS, AND IMAGE FORMING SYSTEM
There is provided with a feeding apparatus that feeds sheets to an apparatus serving as a feeding destination. A sheet storage unit stores the sheets and be able to be pulled out from the feeding apparatus. A stacking unit stacks the sheets. A detection unit detects a connected state and a separated state. A control unit places the sheet stacked on the stacking unit at the predetermined height when the detection unit detects the connected state. A control unit lowers the stacking unit so as to place the sheet at the predetermined height stacked on the stacking unit to a position lower than the predetermined height in accordance with detection of a change from the connected state to the separated state by the detection unit.

A toner cartridge for storing toner to be supplied to an image forming apparatus, includes a container in which the toner is stored and including a first wall having a filling port through which the toner is filled, and a second wall having a ventilation port sealable by a plug, the plug sealing the port during operation of the cartridge and is removed during maintenance of the cartridge to enable air to be supplied into the container through the port, a paddle configured to rotate to stir the toner between the first and second walls of the container, and a paddle gear connected to the paddle and through which a rotation force is transmitted to the paddle. The gear has a through hole that aligns with the ventilation port in a first direction parallel to a rotation axis of the gear when the gear is at a predetermined rotational position.
