A restricting member includes a blade portion and a supporting portion. A contact portion is provided at the blade portion, and, in a cross section orthogonal to a longitudinal direction, the contact portion includes a first portion extending in a first direction and a second portion extending toward a free end from an end of the first portion and extending in a second direction. When a region demarcated by connecting an intersection point, the end of the first portion, and an end of the second portion by a straight line is defined as a first region, the intersection point being where an imaginary line intersects an extension line of the first portion in the first direction, an area of the first region is smaller on a longitudinal end portion than on a longitudinal central portion of the blade portion.
ELECTROPHOTOGRAPHIC PHOTORECEPTOR, PROCESS CARTRIDGE AND IMAGE-FORMING APPARATUS INCLUDING ELECTROPHOTOGRAPHIC PHOTORECEPTOR
The present disclosure provides an electrophotographic photoreceptor including, on a conductive base, at least a photoreceptive layer or alternatively at least the photoreceptive layer and a protective layer laminated on the photoreceptive layer, in which both or either one of the photoreceptive layer and the protective layer contains a perimidine compound represented by general formula (I):
##STR00001##
(wherein X represents hydrogen atom, an alkyl group having 1 to 6 carbon atoms, or an alkoxy group having 1 to 6 carbon atoms, and m represents an integer of 1 to 6).
Processing Cartridge and Electronic Imaging Device
The present invention provides a process cartridge and an electronic imaging device. The process cartridge includes a cartridge body having an accommodating cavity; a developing roller rotatably installed in the accommodating cavity; a photosensitive drum rotatably installed in the cartridge body; a charging roller that is in contact with a peripheral surface of the photosensitive drum and is spaced from the developing roller; and a cleaning member that is located in the accommodating cavity and installed in the cartridge body, extends in a direction parallel to the charging roller, and is in contact with a peripheral surface of the charging roller. The developing roller is in contact with the peripheral surface of the photosensitive drum. The electronic imaging device includes a machine body, and the foregoing process cartridge is detachably installed thereon. The present invention can increase the utilization rate of toner and reduce abrasion of the photosensitive drum.
ELECTROPHOTOGRAPHIC PHOTOSENSITIVE MEMBER, PROCESS CARTRIDGE, AND IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS
A single-layer photosensitive layer included in an electrophotographic photosensitive member contains a charge generating material, a hole transport material, an electron transport material, and a binder resin. The binder resin includes a polyarylate resin. The polyarylate resin includes repeating units (1), (2), (3), and (4).
##STR00001##
The percentage of the number of repeats of the repeating unit (3) relative to the total of the number of repeats of the repeating unit (1) and the number of repeats of the repeating unit (3) is greater than 0% and less than 20%. The hole transport material has one nitrogen atom.
Cartridge including a member movable relative to a frame of the cartridge and a regulating member for regulating movement of the movable member
A cartridge includes a photosensitive drum and a coupling member for transmitting a driving force to the photosensitive drum. A movable member is provided movable relative to a frame and a rotatable portion is supported by the movable member and rotatable relative to the movable member. A regulating member is movable between a regulating position for regulating movement of the movable member by contacting the rotatable portion and a non-regulating position where the regulating member does not regulate the movable member. A position of an end portion of the movable member in an axial direction of the photosensitive drum changes relative to the frame by movement of the movable member between a first position and a second position, and the end portion of the movable member is closer to the coupling member in the axial direction of the photosensitive drum when the movable member is in the second position than when the movable member is in the first position. When the regulating member is in the regulating position, the movable member is constrained from moving from the first position to the second position, and, when the regulating member is in the non-regulating position, the movable member is permitted to move from the first position to the second position.
Electrostatic image developing toner, electrostatic image developer, toner cartridge, process cartridge, image forming apparatus, and image forming method
An electrostatic image developing toner includes toner particles including a binder resin and a release agent, an external additive A, and an external additive B. At least the external additive A is present on the surface of the toner particles. At least the external additive B is present on the external additive A. The external additive B is an aggregate of two or more particles. The toner particles have an average circularity of 0.8 or more and 0.94 or less. The amount of the release agent present at the surface of the toner particles is 5 area % or more and 30 area % or less based on the total surface area of the toner particles.
Image forming apparatus
An image forming apparatus includes an apparatus housing, and an imaging module that is removably installed in the apparatus housing. The imaging module includes an image carrier unit that is capable of carrying an image, an image writer unit that writes an image on the image carrier unit, and a module housing that registers and removably holds the image carrier unit and the image writer unit. A fastening unit that registers the module housing with respect to the apparatus housing and that removably fastens the module housing is disposed between the apparatus housing and the module housing.
The polyarylate resin includes repeating units represented by formulas (1), (2), (3), and (4).
##STR00001##
The percentage of the number of repeats of the repeating unit represented by formula (3) relative to a total of the number of repeats of the repeating unit represented by formula (1) and the number of repeats of the repeating unit represented by formula (3) is greater than 0% and less than 20%.
Particulate delivery container
Examples described herein relate to an apparatus for particulate delivery consistent with the disclosure. For instance, the apparatus may comprise a particulate reservoir container, an orifice positioned at an output portion of the particulate reservoir container, and a baffle that when compressed forces air through an air valve to direct the air below a level of particulates of print material to aerate the particulates of print material.
