IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS
An image forming apparatus includes a first exterior cover provided on a front surface of the image forming apparatus so as to be openable and closable, a second exterior cover provided on a side surface of the image forming apparatus, a third exterior cover fixed on a front surface side of the image forming apparatus and above the first exterior cover in a vertical direction, and a fan configured to suck outside air through a gap formed between the first exterior cover and the second exterior cover. In a state where the first exterior cover is closed, the gap formed between the first exterior cover and the second exterior cover is larger than a gap formed between the third exterior cover and the second exterior cover.
IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS
An image forming apparatus includes an image forming unit, a fixing unit, a plurality of exterior covers forming an exterior of the image forming apparatus, a fan configured to suck outside air into the image forming apparatus through an air intake port, a temperature sensor configured to detect a temperature of the outside air sucked by the fan, and a partition member disposed upstream the temperature sensor and downstream the air intake port in an airflow generated by the fan, the partition member dividing an air intake path through which the outside air sucked through the air intake port passes into a first path passing through a fixing unit side and a second path passing through a temperature sensor side.
Image forming apparatus
An image forming apparatus includes a photosensitive drum, a development device, a fixing device, an apparatus main body, and a fan including a rotating shaft that extends in a longitudinal direction of the photosensitive drum and a blade around the rotating shaft. The development device develops a toner image on the photosensitive drum. The fixing device fixes the toner image from the photosensitive drum to a recording material. The apparatus main body is provided with a discharge port from which the toner-fixed recording material is discharged. A length of the fan rotating shaft in the longitudinal direction is longer than a diameter of a rotational trajectory of the blade. The fan is provided on a downstream side of the fixing device in a discharge direction in which the recording material is discharged from the discharge port and overlaps a part of the development device when viewed in a vertical direction.
Imaging system including heating element and cooling device
An imaging system includes: a conveyor belt that conveys a medium having a toner image fixed thereto, along a conveying route; a heating element to heat the conveyor belt; and a pressing roller to press the conveyor belt against the heating element. The heating element may have a planar surface adjacent to an inner peripheral surface of the conveyor belt.
Image forming apparatus with removal of dust resulting from a parting agent contained in toner
A control portion of an image forming apparatus causes an operation of a first fan start and then causes a second fan to start. The time when the operation of the second fan starts is from a predetermined time before the time when the leading end of one sheet reaches a fixing nip to the time when the rear end of the one sheet passes through the fixing nip. In this way, since the second fan operates after the first fan operates, fine particle dust is hardly discharged to the outside of the image forming apparatus, and it is possible to suppress dew condensation inside the image forming apparatus.
Fixing device and image forming apparatus
A fixing device includes: a heating section that heats in a non-contact manner a front surface of a recording medium; a feeding section that feeds the recording medium while causing the front surface to be opposed to the heating section; and a maintaining section that, in order to enable the recording medium to be fed by the feeding section while a rear surface that is opposite to the front surface, and that is in an image region where an unfixed-image is formed on the front surface is in a non-contact state, maintains the non-contact state.
Recording material cooling device
A recording material cooling device includes a belt, a plurality of rollers, a belt cooling member, a recording material feeding member, a deposited matter removing member, a deposited matter receiving container, a roller holding member, and a supporting member for supporting the roller holding member so as to be swingable between a first position where the belt and the recording material feeding member contact each other and a second position where the belt is spaced from the recording material feeding member. The supporting member supports the roller holding member so that a swing center is positioned on one end side with respect to a rotational axis direction of the rollers. The receiving container includes a wall surface portion for preventing overflow of the deposited matter received through an opening of the receiving container when the roller holding member is positioned in the second position.
IMAGE FORMING DEVICE
An image forming device includes: a conveyance path that conveys a printing medium; an image former that is arranged in a first place in the middle of the conveyance path, forms an image on one surface of the printing medium, and fixes the formed image by heating; a cooler that is arranged in a second place downstream in a conveyance direction from the first place in the middle of the conveyance path, and cools the printing medium by blowing air for cooling to the printing medium; and a reader that is arranged in a third place downstream in the conveyance direction from the second place in the middle of the conveyance path, and reads the image formed on the printing medium, wherein between the first place and the second place of the conveyance path, one or a plurality of guide members is provided, and a guide member is not provided.
IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS
An image forming apparatus includes an image bearing member, a developing device including a developer container and a developer carrying member, a mounting portion, a moving mechanism, a cover member, a wall member, a first seal member, a second seal member, and a fan. The developing device is in a separated position, neither the first seal member or the second seal member contacts the wall member. When the developing device is in a developing position, both the first seal member and the second seal member contact the wall member. When the developing device is in the developing position, a space for permitting passing of an airflow by the fan is formed along a mounting direction by the cover member, the wall member, the first seal member, and the second seal member.
