Product display belt and assembly
A product display belt for a product display assembly may comprise a flexible strip having a top surface, a bottom surface, a front end and a back end; a plurality of hinges mounted to the bottom surface of the flexible strip to form a linear array of separated hinges extending from the front end towards the back end of the flexible strip; and a plurality of flaps, each flap having a front facing surface, a back facing surface, and a top surface, each flap mounted to an associated hinge of the plurality of hinges at the back facing surface below the top surface of the flap such that the flap has a free top end and extends downwardly away from the bottom surface of the flexible strip. HANGING INVENTORY SECURITY DEVICE
A hanging inventory security device includes a body that includes a first body portion comprising a plurality of first body portion mount surfaces and a second body portion comprising a plurality of second housing portion mount surfaces and pivotally coupled to the first body portion. The body further includes two or more mount portions each structured to receive a portion of an inventory hanger extending along a hanger axis. At least one mount member is positioned on one of the first and second body portions and a lock assembly is at least partially positioned in the body and move between a locked position and an unlocked position. In the unlocked position, the first body portion and the second body portion may be pivoted relative to each other, and in the locked position, they are inhibited from pivoting relative to each other and also inhibited from moving along the hanger axis.
Actuator with time delay
A product-dispensing device includes a housing, an actuator, and a time delay mechanism. The actuator is supported by the housing for rotation about a first axis. The time delay mechanism is operably coupled to the actuator and includes a first gear, a second gear, a damper, and a biasing member. The first gear is fixed for rotation with the actuator. The second gear is supported by the housing for rotation about a second axis and configured to engage the first gear. The first gear is operable to rotate the second gear in a first direction about the second axis. The biasing member is operable to rotate the second gear in a second direction about the second axis. The damper is operable to control a rate of rotation of the second gear in the second direction about the second axis. The second direction is opposite the first direction.
MERCHANDISE SECURITY SYSTEM INCLUDING RETRACTABLE ALARMING POWER CORD
A merchandise security system for an electronic item of merchandise is provided. In one example, the merchandise security system includes a continuous alarming power cord comprising at least one electrical conductor. The alarming power cord has a first end adapted to be electrically connected to the electronic item of merchandise and a second end. The merchandise security system also includes a reel for receiving the second end of the alarming power cord and adapted for storing at least a portion of the alarming power cord thereon. In addition, the merchandise security system includes monitoring circuitry in electrical communication with the alarming power cord and configured to detect an interruption in an electrical signal provided to the alarming power cord.
Anti-theft retail merchandise hook with radio transmission
A signal-emitting retail display device that includes a wire having a top portion and a bottom portion, the top portion configured to support a label holder, the bottom portion configured to store one or more retail items. The signal-emitting retail display device also has an electronic unit that includes an emitter. The emitter is configured to emit an audible alarm or warning signal, and configured to wirelessly transmit a signal to a remotely-located alarm box indicative of the audible alarm or warning signal. The wire is electrically coupled to the electronic unit such that the wire functions as an antenna for the transmission of the signal to the alarm box.
Anti-sweep mechanism for merchandise display hook
An anti-sweep mechanism for controlling removal of merchandise items from a forward dispensing end of a merchandise display rod, the anti-sweep mechanism comprising a body having a first blocking portion and a second blocking portion, the body being rotatable between a first position and a second position wherein when the body is in the first position, the first blocking portion blocks forward movement towards the forward dispending end of merchandise items located on the merchandise display rod behind a first blocking location, and the second blocking portion is rotated away from the merchandise display rod to not interfere with movement of merchandise items along the merchandise display rod; and when the body is in the second position, the first blocking portion is rotated away from the merchandise display rod to not interfere with movement of merchandise items along the merchandise display rod, and the second blocking portion blocks forward movement of merchandize items located on the merchandise display rod behind a second blocking location that is spaced behind the first blocking location.

Locking devices that may be used with product display hooks, cabinets, and drawers are provided. A locking device according to one implementation comprising a housing and a shell. The housing includes an outer wall that defines an interior. The housing further includes a channel extending at least partially through the interior of the housing. The shell includes a projection. The shell is at least partially disposed within the interior of the housing and is moveable in a longitudinal direction within the interior of the housing. In an unlocked position, the projection is biased away from the first channel. In a locked position, the projection is maintained in the first channel.
Merchandise security system including retractable alarming power cord
A merchandise security system for an electronic item of merchandise is provided. In one example, the merchandise security system includes a continuous alarming power cord comprising at least one electrical conductor. The alarming power cord has a first end adapted to be electrically connected to the electronic item of merchandise and a second end.
