An image forming apparatus according to the present disclosure includes: a hardware processor configured to control an image former on a basis of a job pertaining to a printing execution command. The hardware processor is configured to divide the job pertaining to the printing execution command into a plurality of short jobs, and configured to stop conveyance of the roll sheet and forcibly eject degraded toner from a developing device of the image former at a pause timing between short jobs temporally adjacent to each other among the plurality of short jobs; and the hardware processor sets a job content of each of the plurality of short jobs such that an image of a printing target is inverted upside down for each job switching of the plurality of short jobs.

A printing apparatus has a sheet holding unit having a detection unit for detecting a size of a sheet which is held and a storage unit configured to store sheet information including at least a size of a sheet as information representing a sheet. The apparatus sets first sheet information selected by a user in association with the sheet holding unit from a plurality of items of sheet information stored in the storage unit and notifies the user of a mismatch in a case where a size of a sheet that the first sheet information set in the setting indicates, and a size of a sheet detected by the detection unit are mismatched.

An image forming apparatus includes: a print processing portion that executes print jobs transmitted from a plurality of information processing apparatuses, according to a predetermined execution order; a human detecting portion that detects a presence of a human within a predetermined specific range from the image forming apparatus; a job identifying portion that identifies, from the print jobs, a first print job that corresponds to the human detected by the human detecting portion; a job detecting portion that detects, from the print jobs, a presence of a second print job that was transmitted from any of one or more second information processing apparatuses that have been grouped into the same group as a first information processing apparatus that is a transmission source of the first print job identified by the job identifying portion; and a notification processing portion that notifies the presence of the detected second print job.

An operation apparatus operates an electronic device. The operation apparatus includes a receiver configured to receive a first image from the electronic device; an image generator configured to generate a second image including the first image received by the receiver; a message setter configured to set a message corresponding to a status of the electronic device, with respect to the first image included in the second image; a display configured to display the second image; and a voice sound outputter configured to output, by voice sound, the message set with respect to the first image, in response to a user operating the first image included in the second image being displayed.

An image forming system includes first and second image forming apparatuses including respective image forming sections and fixing sections. When the system forms an image on a sheet using the first image forming section, then forms an image on the sheet using the second image forming apparatus, and forms an image on a same side of a sheet which has a nonuniform sheet thickness and first and second regions respectively having small and large sheet thicknesses, the image in the first region is formed and fixed using the first image forming apparatus and the image in the second region is formed and fixed using the second image forming apparatus, and the respective fixing sections of the first and the second image forming apparatuses pass the nonuniform sheet while applying a second load lower than a first load applied to a sheet having a uniform sheet thickness.
