Disclosed herein is a shelf system for facilitating advertising of a product, in accordance with some embodiments. Accordingly, the shelf system includes a panel assembly, a sensor, and a display unit. Further, the panel assembly includes a base and a panel. Further, the panel assembly includes a lock mechanism and a cord hole. Further, a first panel assembly of the panel assembly is couplable to a second panel assembly of the panel assembly using the lock mechanism and the cord hole forming a spatial arrangement. Further, the lock mechanism and the cord hole facilitates securing and the transmission of the electrical power between the first panel assembly and the second panel assembly. Further, the sensor is configured for generating sensor data based on a position of an individual in relation to the panel assembly. Further, the display unit is configured for displaying information based on the sensor data.

Sensor-equipped display management systems and methods that may be used to calculate a number of products removed from a display management system based upon motion of one or more mechanisms within the display management system. Additionally, the systems and methods may be used to detect patterns from the sensor data, which may be indicative of attempted theft of products stored within the display management system. Audible and visual alerts can be provided when an attempted theft has been detected.

A cleaning device having a cleaning head assembly and a handle assembly is provided. The assemblies are removably attached to one another by a locking mechanism that includes a female attachment portion having a receptacle and being affixed to a cleaning head, and a male attachment portion having a locking projection and being affixed to a handle and adapted for removable engagement with the female attachment portion. The at least one display panel is curved in a horizontal direction and includes one of a plurality of apertures for receiving hooks for the display of retail product and a sign. A packaged set of articles that are easily mounted to a pegboard hook. The packaged set of articles includes a container defining an internal cavity. A plurality of packages may be located in the internal cavity’ of the container in a single file arrangement. Each of the packages may comprise a receiving cavity within which an article, such as a toothbrush, is disposed. The packages may also have an aperture that permits the package to be hung from a pegboard hook in a retail environment. Furthermore, an elongated rod may be located within the internal cavity of the container so as to extend through the apertures of each of the packages. This enables the elongated rod and packages to be removed from the container simultaneously so that the elongated rod can be used to facilitate loading of the packages onto a pegboard hook.

A merchandise display hook and method for dispensing one or more items of merchandise from a merchandise display hook and/or for loading one or more items of merchandise onto the display hook are provided. The display hook may include at least one rod configured to be mounted to a display fixture and to receive one or more items of merchandise thereon. The display hook may also include a helix disposed about the rod and extending at least partially along a length of the rod. The helix is configured to rotate in a dispensing direction for dispensing the one or more items of merchandise from the rod and/or an opposite loading direction for loading the one or more items of merchandise onto the rod.
