Procurement stand for stem cell collection and transport

A stand for the collection of stem cells from a placenta is disclosed. The stand includes a base with an upper surface adapted to hold a placenta during stem cell collection, a back support, and an upper platform with a surface suspended above the base and adapted to hold the placenta during collection of stem cells. The stand is preferably composed of cardboard or a similar material and is foldable between a folded configuration and an assembled configuration. The back support is hinged to the base and can move between a position parallel to the base in the folded configuration and a position perpendicular to the base in the assembled configuration.

Display tray

A display tray with multiple side panels attached to one another to form tray sides. The display tray includes a tray surface having an area defined by the first, second, third, and fourth four side panels. Additionally, the display tray includes multiple corner columns, with a corner column located in each corner of the tray. Each corner column upwardly extends from the tray surface and is sturdy enough to support the stacking of another design tray on top.

The first end portion may be located in the first notch such that the first end panel and the first positioning panel frictionally engage the containment panel first end portion to frictionally hold the first containment panel in position. The first containment panel may be removable so as to convert the shipping container to a display tray.
