IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS
An image forming apparatus includes an image forming unit that forms an image on a recording medium according to image data, and an adjusting unit that adjusts the image around a cut when the recording medium has the cut.
IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS TO JUDGE LIFETIME END OF EXPENDABLE ITEM
An image forming apparatus comprises an expendable item having a specific function, installed replaceably with respect to a main body of the image forming apparatus, wherein there are several types of expendable items, and an engine control unit. The engine control unit judges end of lifetime of the expendable item by using one of a plurality of lifetime judgment methods. The engine control unit selects a lifetime judgment method used in the judgment, according to a type of the expendable item. It makes possible to provide an image forming apparatus capable of appropriately determining the reaching of the lifetime end of expendable items.
EXPOSURE APPARATUS AND IMAGE-FORMING APPARATUS
An exposure apparatus includes light-emitting elements arranged along a direction of a rotation axis of a photosensitive member and at least one processor. The at least one processor is configured to controls driving of the light-emitting elements, generate correction data for use in increasing or decreasing the number of the light-emitting elements to be turned on based on a correction amount for correcting unevenness in light amount, and correct image data in accordance with a value indicated by the correction data. For a pixel for which the correction amount indicates a value exceeding a predetermined limit value, the correction data indicates a value that is equal to or smaller than the limit value.
IMAGE PROCESSING APPARATUS, IMAGE PROCESSING METHOD, AND STORAGE MEDIUM
The image processing apparatus of the present invention includes: an edge determination unit configured to detect an edge pixel to which a white pixel and a black pixel are adjacent in a first direction in an image in which each pixel is represented as a white pixel or a black pixel; a first detection unit configured to detect a number of consecutive pixels up to the edge pixel in the first direction in the image; a second detection unit configured to detect a number of consecutive pixels whose number of consecutive pixels in the first direction is larger than a first threshold in a second direction perpendicular to the first direction in the image; and a type determination unit configured to determine a type of the edge pixel based on detection results by the first detection unit and detection results by the second detection unit.
Image forming apparatus including exposure head provided with plurality of light emitting chips
An image forming apparatus includes a light emitting chip and at least one processor. The light emitting chip includes a plurality of light emitting elements, a DAC outputting a voltage corresponding to a setting value, and a circuit unit that supplies a current to the plurality of light emitting elements based on the voltage. At least one processor is configured to set the setting value such that one light emitting element included among the plurality of light emitting elements emits light of a predetermined amount, and correct image data pieces that respectively correspond to the plurality of light emitting elements based on first correction data for correcting amounts of light respectively emitted by the plurality of light emitting elements. The circuit unit supplies a current to each of the plurality of light emitting elements based on the corrected image data pieces.
