DEVELOPING CARTRIDGE INCLUDING AGITATOR CONFIGURED TO CONTACT PERIPHERAL SURFACE OF SUPPLY ROLLER
A developing cartridge includes a casing, a developing roller, a supply roller, a first agitator and a second agitator. The casing is configured to accommodate toner therein. The supply roller is configured to supply the toner to the developing roller. The first agitator is configured to agitate the toner in the casing. The second agitator is configured to agitate the toner in the casing. The second agitator is positioned between the first agitator and the supply roller. The second agitator includes a blade having a tip end configured to contact a peripheral surface of the supply roller.
Toner cartridge and image forming apparatus including a screw to convey toner in the cartridge, an elastic member to loosen the toner, and a means to discharge toner together with air to the outside of the cartridge
A cartridge includes a casing including a toner storage chamber storing toner and a toner discharge chamber having an outlet, a conveyance member conveying the toner from the toner storage chamber to the toner discharge chamber, an action member attached to the conveyance member and repeating an action of shifting between an entering state of entering the outlet and a retraction state of retracting from the outlet, and a pump expanding and contracting to be shifted between a first state and a second state in which the internal space is smaller in volume than in the first state, the pump putting air into the toner discharge chamber by being shifted from the first state to the second state, thereby discharging the toner from the toner discharge chamber through the outlet, and the pump taking in air by being shifted from the second state to the first state.
Developer supply device and image forming apparatus
A developer supply device includes: a toner storage part that can be attached to/removed from a body of the developer supply device and stores toner therein; a toner supply part that receives the toner from the toner storage part and supplies the toner to a developing device that develops an electrostatic latent image formed on an image carrier with developer containing the toner and carrier; a carrier storage part that can be attached to/removed from the body and stores the carrier therein; and a carrier supply part that receives the carrier from the carrier storage part and supplies the carrier to the developing device, the carrier supply part having a smaller capacity than the toner supply part.
IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS
An image forming apparatus includes a toner container, and a main body which the toner container is attachable to and detachable from. The main body includes an image forming unit including a photosensitive drum, a toner containing portion, and a development roller, an attaching portion in which the toner container is at a first position for allowing supply of the toner, an opening portion of the main body, an acquisition unit acquiring a correlation value correlating with a toner remaining amount, an opening/closing member moving between an open position and a closed position, a detection unit detecting the opening/closing member, a movement mechanism executing moving operation for moving the toner container from the first position to a second position, and a control unit controlling the movement mechanism to execute the moving operation in a case where both of a first condition and a second condition are satisfied.
DEVELOPING CARTRIDGE INCLUDING CASING AND FIRST AND SECOND AGITATORS FOR AGITATING TONER ACCOMMODATED IN CASING
A developing cartridge includes: a casing, a developing roller, a first agitator, a supply roller, and a second agitator. The casing is configured to accommodate toner. The developing roller is rotatable about a developing roller rotation axis extending in a first direction. The first agitator is configured to agitate the toner. The first agitator is rotatable about a first agitator rotation axis extending in the first direction. The supply roller is positioned between the first agitator and the developing roller. The supply roller is rotatable about a supply roller rotation axis extending in the first direction. The second agitator is positioned between the supply roller and the first agitator. The second agitator is rotatable about a second agitator rotation axis extending in the first direction. A rotation locus of the second agitator is positioned outside of a rotation locus of the first agitator.
ELECTROPHOTOGRAPHIC PHOTOSENSITIVE MEMBER, PROCESS CARTRIDGE, AND ELECTROPHOTOGRAPHIC APPARATUS
An electrophotographic photosensitive member including a surface layer containing a binder resin and metal oxide particles. An average primary particle diameter of the metal oxide particles measured from a cross-section of the surface layer is 20 to 70 nm. A content ratio of the metal oxide particles in the surface layer measured from the cross-section of the surface layer is 30 to 75 vol % with respect to a total volume of the surface layer.
ELECTROMAGNETS AND PRINT SUBSTANCE CONTAINERS
Examples described herein relate to a print substance container consistent with the disclosure. For instance, the print substance container may comprise a print substance disposed inside of the print substance container and a first electromagnet formed of a wire coil positioned around the print substance container and extending along a length of the print substance container.
VALVE HOUSING ROTATION PREVENTION
In some examples, an apparatus can include a pawl including an anti-rotation surface and a spring, and a valve housing including a wedge, where the spring biases the pawl to a first position in response to the valve housing being at a closed position such that the wedge of the valve housing contacts the anti-rotation surface of the pawl to prevent rotation of the valve housing at the first position of the pawl.
SUPPLY RESERVOIRS WITH ROTARY VALVES
In some examples, an apparatus can include a supply reservoir including print substance, and a rotary valve having a central rotary axis, where the central rotary axis is perpendicular to a height of the supply reservoir, where the rotary valve is in a closed position such that the print substance is unable to be supplied from the supply reservoir.
