The powder container includes a discharge port to discharge powder stored inside the powder container, a collection port to collect the powder from outside of the powder container, a first shutter to open and close the discharge port, a first opening and closing member disposed at one end of the powder container in a longitudinal direction of the powder container to open and close the first shutter, a second shutter to open and close the collection port, and a second opening and closing member disposed at another end of the powder container in the longitudinal direction of the powder container to open and close the second shutter.

An image formation apparatus provided with an image forming unit and a server unit in a single housing includes a power supply unit that supplies the image forming unit and the server unit with power and a fan that sends external air into the server unit, and when supplying the image forming unit with power from the power supply unit is stopped the fan is still driven and sending external air into the server unit is thus not stopped.

An image forming apparatus includes a housing. The housing stores a toner bottle and has an insertion opening and a cover. The toner bottle is insertable to the insertion opening. The cover has an opening and openably closable the insertion opening. The toner bottle is visible from the opening of the cover at a closed position.

An image forming apparatus includes a rotary configured to rotate and including a developing roller and a storage frame including a storage portion configured to store toner, a body frame with an opening, a toner cartridge which is attachable to and detachable from the rotary through the opening, which is movable to an attached position and a retracted position, a moving device configured to move the toner cartridge from the attached position to the retracted position, and an opening/closing member provided to be movable between a closed position and an open position. The opening/closing member is configured to move from the closed position to the open position in an interconnected manner with movement of the toner cartridge from the attached position to the retracted position by the moving device.

An image forming apparatus includes a developing device including a developing roller and a storage frame including a storage portion configured to store toner, a body frame with an opening, a toner cartridge which is configured to store the toner, which is attachable to and detachable from the developing device through the opening, which is movable to an attached position and a retracted position, and which is configured to supply the toner to the storage portion in a state in which the toner cartridge is at the attached position, and a moving device configured to move the toner cartridge from the attached position to the retracted position. The toner cartridge is configured such that at least part of the toner cartridge projects outside the body frame in a state in which the toner cartridge is at the retracted position.

An image forming apparatus includes a conveyance unit configured to convey a sheet in a conveyance direction, an image bearing member, a transfer unit, a fixing unit, a sheet discharge unit, a detection unit, and a control unit configured to control conveyance of the sheet by controlling the conveyance unit and the image bearing member. A developing device includes a developing container, first and second stirring-conveyance members, a developer carrier, a toner concentration sensor, a scraper, and a scraper attachment unit. The second stirring-conveyance member includes a rotation shaft, a first spiral blade to convey developer in an axial direction, and a second spiral blade to overlap a region where the first spiral blade is formed, which is opposite to the first spiral blade in phase, and lower than the first spiral blade in height in a radial direction. An absent region, where the second spiral blade does not exist, is formed in one pitch of the first spiral blade, the one pitch facing the toner concentration sensor. The scraper attachment unit is formed to extend, along a straight line passing through intersection points of the first and second spiral blades and parallel to the rotation shaft, into the absent region.

There is demand to reduce the amount of developing agent fed to a cleaning member. The amount of developing agent that is fed to the cleaning member is decided based on the amount of developing agent recovered by the cleaning member or the amount of use of a process cartridge.
