The toner unit is configured to be detachably attached to the main body thorough the loading port. The developer unit is configured to be detachably attached to the main body thorough the loading port. The toner unit, the developer unit, and the image bearing unit are located in this order from the loading port to an inside of the main body, when the toner unit, the developer unit, and the image bearing unit are attached in the main body. The toner unit is configured to be independently detached from the main body, when the image bearing unit and the developer unit are attached to the main body.

Image forming apparatus with frame body and detachable cartridge with integrated photosensitive drum

A structure includes a rotatable rotating member, a blade, a support member, and a frame body. The blade extends in an axial direction of the rotating member and is in contact with or disposed close to a surface of the rotating member. The support member supports the blade such that one end side of the blade projects toward the rotating member in a lateral direction that intersects the axial direction. The frame body is formed by insert molding in which resin is injected while the support member is secured to a mold. The frame body clamps part of the support member so as to support the support member.

TONER, DEVELOPER CONTAINER, IMAGE FORMING UNIT, AND IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS

A toner includes: a binder resin; a release agent; and a brilliant pigment including aluminum. A content of aluminum in the toner is greater than or equal to 6.7% and less than or equal to 17.2%, the content of aluminum being measured by an energy dispersive X-ray fluorescence spectrometer.

IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS
20180136603 · 2018-05-17 ·

An image forming apparatus includes a cartridge including a photosensitive drum; an endless belt configured to transfer the toner image formed on the drum; an endless belt supporting member movable between a contacting position for contacting the belt to the drum and a non-contacting position retracted from the contacting position away from the drum; and a cartridge supporting member movable between an image forming position in which the drum contacts the belt taking the contacting position and a non-image-forming position in which the cartridge is movable from a inside to a outside of the main assembly. By movement of the belt from the contacting position to the non-contacting position, a space capable of accommodating at least a part of the cartridge supporting member taking the non-image-forming position and/or the cartridge supported by the cartridge supporting member taking the non-image-forming position is provided.

IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS, CARTRIDGE, AND FRAME BODY USED FOR THE CARTRIDGE

To provide a structure that includes a small number of components, that is unlikely to be affected by heat, and that allows a blade secured to a frame body and a rotating member to be in contact with each other at a uniform pressure in a longitudinal direction.

Image forming apparatus provided with a developing unit storage portion and a developing unit mounting portion

An image forming apparatus has an improved structure which avoids additional expenses associated with packing a developing unit and allows the developing unit to be stably stored. The image forming apparatus may include a body, a first developing unit accommodating portion and a second developing unit accommodating portion disposed at different positions in the body, and a developing unit which is allowed to be detachably accommodated in the first developing unit accommodating portion and the second developing unit accommodating portion. When accommodated in the first developing unit accommodating portion, the developing unit may be disposed such that it does not perform image formation. When accommodated in the second developing unit accommodating portion, the developing unit may be disposed to perform image formation.
