Product-display system
A product-display system for displaying and securing a retail product. The system may include a retainer having a retainer bracket and a retainer body coupled to the retainer bracket. A retaining cable may be coupled to the retainer body at an opening in the retainer body. A fastener that may be unfastened to release the product from the retainer may only be accessed through the opening of the retainer body such that when the retaining cable is coupled to the opening, no fasteners of the retainer may be visible or accessible. The system may also include a display stem for holding the retainer and product. The display stem may include a recess for receiving at least a portion of the retainer body. The retaining cable may extend through the display stem and may simultaneously transmit power and data to a displayed product. The retainer may be returned to and held on top of the display stem using a retaining cable. The retainer may be oriented on top of the display stem in one or more predetermined positions through the use of magnetic forces.
SUPPORT ASSEMBLY FOR DISPLAYING A PORTABLE ARTICLE
The combination of a portable article having a body with a peripheral edge and a support assembly for displaying the portable article. The support assembly has: a frame that supports the portable article in a display position; and a blocking assembly changeable between first and second states. With the blocking assembly in the first state, the portable article can be slide guidingly against the support assembly in a first direction along a first path from a pre-assembly position into the display position. The blocking assembly in the first state does not interfere with movement of the portable article moving in the first path. The blocking assembly in the second state blocks movement of the portable article in the display position along the first path oppositely to the first direction.
Component securing unit
A component securing unit for mounting to a cooperating surface of a component, including: a component interface defining a first interface surface region and a second interface surface region; a first adhesive material located on the first interface surface region; a second adhesive material having one or more adhesive material properties that are different than adhesive material properties of the first adhesive material, the second adhesive material located on the second interface surface region; the component interface, first adhesive material, and second adhesive material co-operatively configured such that the first adhesive material and second adhesive material can each adhere to respective portions of the cooperating surface to mount the component securing unit to the cooperating surface.
Display stand unit
Systems disclosed herein are directed to a display stand unit for a retail environment. The display stand unit includes a base having an interior and a display stand. The display stand includes a stem that connects to and extends upwardly from the base and a receiving surface that is suspended above and spaced away from the base by the stem. The receiving surface is configured to releasably hold an electronic device above and spaced away from the base. The display stand unit further includes a security cable that extends out from the base. The security cable is configured to attach to the electronic device to movably secure the electronic device to the base. The display stand unit further includes a retractor disposed within the interior of the base and connected to the security cable. The retractor automatically retracts the security cable.
Apparatuses with ratcheting buttons for securing electronic devices
Apparatuses for physically securing a portable electronic device to a tabletop of a display table or to another display surface are disclosed. In an embodiment an apparatus includes a main body, a plurality of arms that are extendable and retractable relative to the main body, and a plurality of braces attached to the plurality of arms, each brace configured to be secured to the portable electronic device. The apparatus includes one or more ratcheting buttons, located in corresponding holes in the main body or in arms, each ratcheting button configured to be upwardly movable within the corresponding hole with a ratchet mechanism to prevent downward movement of the ratcheting button within the corresponding hole. One or more fasteners is/are attachable to a tabletop to secure the apparatus and the portable electronic device to the tabletop.
Product demonstration fixture for a portable electronic device
A retail electronic product demonstration fixture for demonstrating portable electronic devices. The product demonstration fixture may include an exhibition portion and a base portion. A portable electronic device offered for sale may be affixed to the exhibition portion. The base portion may include an electronic display, an auxiliary battery, and an auxiliary controller. The auxiliary controller may direct power from the auxiliary battery to the electronic display upon determining that a battery within the electronic display has fallen below a particular selected level. Similarly the auxiliary controller may direct power from the auxiliary battery to the portable electronic device offered for sale upon determining that a battery within the portable electronic device has fallen below a selected level.

Display systems and methods
A display system and method for displaying a product is disclosed. The system may include a display stem and a retainer for holding the product. The retainer may include a bracket and a retainer body having a substantially smooth surface. The display stem may include a recess for receiving at least a portion of the retainer body. The retainer may be oriented on top of the display stem in one or more predetermined positions through the use of magnetic forces. The retainer may be returned to and held on top of the display stem using a retaining cable. The retainer body and recess may include charging contacts for delivering power to a product held by the retainer when the retainer body is received within the recess.
Security device for functional display and security of handheld electronic devices
A security device and base for a mobile device. The security device includes a body, at least two sliding arms coupled to the body, and a leveling plate coupled to the body and configured to receive the mobile device.
TETHER SYSTEM
A tether system is described that tethers a mobile computing device to a base. The tether system allows the mobile computing device to be used by individuals, but does not allow the mobile computing device to be moved further away from the base than the length of the tether. The tether system includes a tether cord with a first end coupled to the base, and a second end coupled to a coupling apparatus. The base can be a fixed structure, or can be coupled to a fixed structure, at the location where the mobile computing device is kept. The coupling apparatus is coupled to the mobile computing device. With the coupling apparatus coupling one end of the tether cord to the mobile computing device, and the other end of the tether cord coupled to the base, the tether system couples the mobile computing device to the base.
