Elastomeric Reflection Suppressor
Various embodiments of the present technology generally relate to reflection suppressors. More specifically, some embodiments use elastomeric materials doped with optical absorbers for temporary suppression of Fresnel reflections for multiple substrates spanning wide spectral and angular bandwidth. The refractive index of the elastomer can be tuned to match a substrate and thereby minimize reflection. Some embodiments can use the addition of different absorptive dopants to allow for either broadband or wavelength-selective reflection suppression. As performance is limited only by index mismatch, both spectral and angular performance significantly exceed that of anti-reflection coatings. After use, these light traps may be removed and reused without damaging the substrate. These films have uses in spectroscopic ellipsometry, holography, and lithography.
EYE TRACKING SYSTEM WITH HOLOGRAPHIC FILM DECODER
A volume holographic film (such as a photopolymer) that is pre-recorded with patterns subsequently is used to encode LED or low-power laser light reflections from an eye into a binary pattern that can be read at very high speeds by a relatively simple complementary metal-oxide-semiconductor (CMOS) sensor that may be similar to a high framerate, low resolution mouse sensor. The low-resolution mono images from the film are translated into eye poses using, for instance, a look up table that correlates binary patterns to X, Y positions or using a pre-trained convolutional neural network to robustly interpret many variations of the binary patterns for conversion to X, Y positions.
Light diffraction layer laminated sheet and method for producing card
Provided are: a light diffraction layer laminated sheet which enables easy production of a card that has a light analysis structure; and a card. A light diffraction layer laminated sheet material which forms a part of a laminated structure of a card by being laminated on top of a card base material. This light diffraction layer laminated sheet material is provided with: a transparent sheet layer; a hologram layer that has a contour smaller than the contour of the transparent sheet layer and is laminated on one surface, which is the upper surface, of the transparent sheet layer; and an HS layer that bonds the transparent sheet layer and the hologram layer with each other.
Method of producing volume hologram laminate
A main object of the present invention is to provide a method of producing a volume hologram laminate which can regenerate a hologram image in an arbitrary wavelength by a simple process. To attain the object, the present invention provides a method of producing a volume hologram laminate using a volume hologram forming substrate which comprises: a substrate, a volume hologram layer formed on the substrate and containing a photopolymerizable material, a resin layer, formed on the substrate so as to contact to the volume hologram layer, containing a resin and a polymerizable compound, characterized in that the producing method comprises processes of: a hologram recording process to record a volume hologram to the volume hologram layer, a substance transit process of transiting the polymerizable compound to the volume hologram layer, and an after-treatment process of polymerizing the polymerizable compound.
Laminated pane comprising a photopolymer layer and PDLC element
A laminated pane, includes, in this order, an outer pane, an intermediate layer, a functional element with electrically controllable optical properties that is selected from among a PDLC functional element, a PNLC functional element, or an SPD functional element, an intermediate layer, a holographic display element, an intermediate layer, and an inner pane.
Electron-beam coating device
An apparatus and method for curing an electron-beam coating on a flexible substrate. A continuously looping master web is mated with the flexible substrate to cover the electron-beam coating when passing through an electron-beam curing unit. Curing of the electron-beam coating takes place in normal atmospheric conditions, thereby eliminating the need for nitrogen gas or the like in a curing chamber.
Hologram transcription apparatus
Provided is a hologram transcription apparatus including: an exposure part; and a light source part for irradiating light to the exposure part. Here, the exposure part includes a transfer unit for transferring a hologram film, and the exposure part is rotatable to change an angle formed with the light.
VOLUME HOLOGRAM SHEET TO BE EMBEDDED, FORGERY PREVENTION PAPER, AND CARD
An object of the present invention is to provide a thin volume hologram sheet to be embedded sufficiently resistant to a mechanical stress such as a stress including a tensile stress, a shear stress and a compression stress at the time of processing even under a heating condition, a forgery prevention paper and a card using the same. The object is achieved by providing a volume hologram sheet to be embedded comprising a volume hologram layer, and a substrate disposed only on one side surface of the volume hologram layer using an adhesion means, wherein a peeling strength of the volume hologram layer and the substrate is 25 gf/25 mm or more.
Volume holographic element, volume holographic element manufacturing method, and display device
In a process of manufacturing the volume holographic element, a holographic material layer is irradiated with reference light from the side of a second substrate in the oblique direction, and the holographic material layer is vertically irradiated with object light from the side of a first substrate in an interference exposure process. Since a first translucent anti-reflective layer is formed on the first surface of the first substrate, it is difficult that situation in which the reference light is reflected in the first surface in the oblique direction occurs. In addition, since a second translucent anti-reflective layer is formed on the second surface of the second substrate, it is difficult that a situation in which the object light is reflected in the second surface occurs.
Low Haze Liquid Crystal Materials
Photopolymerizable materials and in particular holographic polymer dispersed liquid crystal materials and processes for fabricating holographic waveguide devices from such materials are provided. Materials and formulations of photopolymerizable materials are sufficiently low haze to allow for the omission of adhesives from within the cell of the holographic waveguide devices. The photopolymerizable materials are used in association with methods of manufacturing holographic waveguides such that photopolymerizable materials may be used as an adhesive material.
