Device and method for manufacturing holographic optical elements
A device and a method for manufacturing holographic optical elements. The device includes at least two partial light beams and one interference light beam, one deformable mirror in each case per partial light beam, a control unit, which is configured to actuate the deformable mirrors to adapt a wavefront of the partial light beam, and a holographic film. The deformable mirrors are situated so as to each reflect precisely one partial light beam and to direct the reflected partial light beam on the holographic film, and the interference light beam being directed on the holographic film to interfere with the reflected partial light beams so as to simultaneously generate at least two holographic optical elements.
Light guide plate for image display
A light guide plate for image display can display clear images even when a resin base is used. The Sight guide plate configured for image display may include a first resin base and a hologram layer. The first resin base may have an MC value of 0.120 or less, obtained by evaluation using shadow contrast, according to expression (1):
wherein Lmax is a maximum value of brightness from a brightness distribution, Lmin is a minimum value of the lightness from the brightness distribution, and MC is an MC value that objectively represents a magnitude of a dip in low brightness portions in the brightness distribution.
HOLOGRAPHIC CHARACTER CREATION
A system may include an image plane, a scrim layer, and a lens stack positioned between the image plane and the scrim layer. The lens stack may be positioned at a first distance from the image plane to create a perceived image at a second distance away from the lens stack. The first and second distances may be equal. The image source may be spaced away from the lens stack and on a first side of the lens stack. The scrim layer may be positioned on a second side of the lens stack. The lens stack may include a pair of lenses (e.g., identical Fresnel lenses) stacked facing each other. A bounce mirror positioned between the image plane and the lens stack may fold an optical path from the image plane to the lens stack. Additional systems and associated methods are also disclosed.

Provided is a light guide plate for image display, whereby clear images can be displayed even when a resin base is used, wherein the light guide plate for image display (1004) has a first resin base (1001) and a hologram layer (1002), and wherein the first resin base (1001) has an MC value of 0.120 or less obtained by evaluation using shadow contrast.
