Optical device with ordered scatterer arrays for secure identity and a method of producing the same
An optical device with ordered scatterer arrays for secure identity and a method of producing the same This invention discloses a method for configurable spatial control and modification of optically active resonantly coupled scatterer arrays to produce identifiable security features and a corresponding photonic secure identity device. The invention comprises at least the steps of (i) producing a deposition template from said master stamp, (ii) synthesis of a plasmonic particle colloid, (iii) producing an optically active, two-dimensional security tag template using self-assembly of said particles on said deposition template, (iv) producing a customized secure identity device from said security tag template by selective removal or modification of optical properties using ultrashort laser pulses. The produced customized plasmonic-photonic device can then be used as secure identity and anti-counterfeiting means. The device exploits customized spatial control and modification of optically active plasmonic particle arrays demonstrating surface lattice resonance optical signature to produce easily identifiable security features.
Apparatus and method for performing in-line lens-free digital holography of an object
The present disclosure relates to apparatuses and methods for performing in-line lens-free digital holography of objects. At least one embodiment relates to an apparatus for performing in-line lens-free digital holography of an object. The apparatus includes a point light source adapted for emitting coherent light. The apparatus also includes an image sensing device adapted and arranged for recording interference patterns resulting from interference from light waves directly originating from the point light source and object light waves. The object light waves originate from light waves from the point light source that are scattered or reflected by the object. The image sensing device comprises a plurality of pixels. The point light source comprises a broad wavelength spectrum light source and a pinhole structure. The image sensing device comprises a respective narrow band wavelength filter positioned above each pixel that filters within a broad wavelength spectrum of the point light source.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR HOLOGRAPHIC IMAGING OF A SINGLE PLANE OF AN OBJECT
A system and method to produce a hologram of a single plane of a three dimensional object includes an electromagnetic radiation assembly to elicit electromagnetic radiation from a single plane of said object, and an assembly to direct the elicited electromagnetic radiation toward a hologram-forming assembly. The hologram-forming assembly creates a hologram that is recorded by an image capture assembly and then further processed to create maximum resolution images free of an inherent holographic artifact.

Digital Holographic Device
The techniques, apparatus, material and systems are described for a portable camera device which can be attached to the camera port of a conventional transmission or reflection microscope for complex wave front analysis. At least one holographic element (BS, grating) splits the beam (s) containing the sample information in two beams (r,o) and filters (r, o) them. The proposed invention has a relaxed alignment sensitivity to displacement of the beam coming from the microscope. Besides since it compensates the coherence plane tilt angle between reference and object arms, it allows for creating high-visibility interference over the entire field of view. The full-field off-axis holograms provide the whole sample information.
Holographic image processing method and holographic image processing apparatus
Provided is a holographic image processing apparatus including a memory configured to store at least one instruction, and a processor configured to execute the at least one instruction stored in the memory to generate a corrected holographic image by correcting an original holographic image captured by a holographic camera based on a neural network configured to learn hologram correction in advance.
Device acquiring holography and system including the same
Disclosed herein a device acquiring holography and system including the same. The device includes: a beam splitter module splitting a light emitted from an object into a first beam and a second beam which have polarizations in different states; and an optical control module equipped with a first reflective optical element, which is disposed at one side of the beam splitter module and receives and emits the first beam to the beam splitter module, and a second reflective optical element which is placed at the other side of the beam splitter module, receives the second beam and emits the second beam to the beam splitter module so as to have differences of optical path and wavefront from the first beam. The beam splitter module, the first reflective optical element and the second reflective optical element are monolithically installed by being fixed to each other.
