LENSLESS HOLOGRAPHIC IMAGING SYSTEM USING HOLOGRAPHIC OPTICAL ELEMENT
A lensless holographic imaging system having a holographic optical element includes: a coherent light source for outputting a first light beam and a second light beam, wherein the first light beam irradiates a first inspection plane to form first object-diffracted light; a light modulator for modulating the second light beam into reading light having a specific wavefront; a multiplexed holographic optical element, wherein the first object-diffracted light passes through the multiplexed holographic optical element, and the reading light is input into the multiplexed holographic optical element to generate a diffracted light beam as system reference light; and an image capture device for reading at least one interference signal generated by interference between the first object-diffracted light and the system reference light. The lensless holographic imaging system has a relatively small volume and relatively high diffraction efficiency.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR DIGITAL LASER PROJECTION WITH INCREASED CONTRAST USING FOURIER FILTER
An optical filter to increase contrast of an image generated with a spatial light modulator includes a lens for spatially Fourier transforming modulated light from the spatial light modulator, and an optical filter mask positioned at a Fourier plane of the lens to filter the modulated light. The modulated light has a plurality of diffraction orders, and the optical filter mask transmits at least one of the diffraction orders of the modulated light and block a remaining portion of the modulated light. A method that improves contrast of an image generated with a spatial light modulator includes spatially Fourier transforming modulated light from the spatial light modulator onto a Fourier plane, and filtering the modulated light by transmitting at least one diffraction order of the modulated light at the Fourier plane and blocking a remaining portion of the modulated light at the Fourier plane.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR ANALYZING AN IMAGING QUALITY OF AN IMAGING SYSTEM
Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to a method for analyzing an imaging quality of an imaging system. The imaging system comprises a spatial light modulator. The spatial light modulator comprises pixel units arranged in an array. The method comprises obtaining a transmittance distribution function of the spatial light modulator based on a structural parameter of the pixel unit, wherein the structural parameter is an aperture ratio. The imaging quality analysis parameter of the imaging system is obtained based on the transmittance distribution function of the spatial light modulator. Then, the imaging quality of the imaging system is analyzed based on the imaging quality analysis parameter.
