METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR DISPLAYING BINOCULAR HOLOGRAM IMAGE
Disclosed herein are a method and apparatus for displaying a binocular hologram image. The method includes generating a light beam of an incident wave field having coherence, expanding the generated light beam to the size of the active area of a display, converging the expanded light beam on the respective positions of the eyes of a user, generating digital hologram content, and displaying a hologram image based on the converged light beam and on the digital hologram content.
SYSTEM FOR SIMULATION OF ENVIRONMENTAL ENERGY
Disclosed is a device that utilizes a light-field display to project a virtual continuum of real world perspectives of a natural scene to a plurality of observer viewpoints to simulate a natural environment. An observer perceives different perspectives as he or she moves through the simulated environment just like the observer would as if he or she were in a natural environment.
Display device, in particular a head-mounted display, based on temporal and spatial multiplexing of hologram tiles
The invention relates to a display device, in particular a head-mounted display or hocular, having a spatial light modulator and a controllable light-deflecting device for generating a multiple image of the spatial light modulator, which consists of segments, the multiple image being produced at least with a predefinable number of segments which determines the size of a visible area within which a 3D-scene holographically encoded in the spatial light modulator can be reconstructed for observation by an eye of an observer.
Method and apparatus for processing holographic image
An apparatus and method for processing a holographic image. The apparatus calculates a first calculation result with respect to an image for the left eye and a first calculation result with respect to an image for the right eye and stores the results at different memory addresses of a storage. Thereafter, the apparatus calculates values of a waveform of light to be modulated by a spatial light modulator by performing a second calculation that uses all of the first calculation results stored in the storage. An image window of the image for the left eye and an image window of the image for the right eye are spatially separated from each other by the apparatus in a viewing window of a hologram image reproduced via the spatial light modulator.
Imaging devices and imaging methods by millimeter wave 3D holographic scanning
An imaging device and an imaging method by millimeter wave 3D holographic scanning are disclosed. In an embodiment, the millimeter wave 3D holographic scanning imaging device may include: a conveying apparatus configured to convey an object located thereon in a first direction; and at least one millimeter wave transceiving module arranged beside the conveying apparatus, each configured to be enabled to scan the object when the conveying apparatus conveys the object through the respective millimeter wave transceiving module, wherein each millimeter wave transceiving module is arranged to have its longitudinal direction extend in a direction intersecting the first direction, and includes a millimeter wave transceiving antenna array for transceiving millimeter wave signals.
Method To Translate A Non-Collimated Optical Beam
The present disclosure relates to systems and methods for translating optical beams.
Determine and project holographic object path and object movement with multi-device collaboration
Embodiments described herein provide a solution for providing a holographic projection. A plurality of holographic projecting mobile devices that are within a physical area are identified. A set of holographic object paths that can be projected using the identified holographic projecting mobile devices is determined. A holographic object path is selected from this set of holographic object paths. A holographic object is projected moving according to the holographic object path by the plurality of holographic projecting mobile devices.

Input coupler, backlight unit, and three-dimensional image display apparatus including the input coupler
An input coupler includes: a plurality of semi-reflectors located along an optical path along which a light incident from a light source travels, each of the plurality of semi-reflectors comprising a reflective surface that is inclined with respect to the optical path and configured to reflect a first portion of the light and transmit a second portion of the light; and a plurality of optical path changing members configured to change an optical path of the light transmitted through the plurality of semi-reflectors, wherein the plurality of semi-reflectors and the plurality of optical path changing members are arranged such that the light passing through at least one of the plurality of semi-reflectors and emitted in one direction has a linear beam distribution.
Systems and methods for a customer assistance station
Aspects of the subject disclosure may include, for example, receiving first user input from a first user interface screen and second user input from a second user interface screen, wherein the first user interface screen is disposed at a first location on a support structure and the second user interface screen is disposed at a second location on the support structure; presenting a first series of images, wherein the first series of images is presented responsive to first user input, and wherein the first series of images is presented as a first projection in a first volume of space; and presenting a second series of images, wherein the second series of images is presented responsive to second user input, wherein the second series of images is presented as a second projection in a second volume of space. Other embodiments are disclosed.
