Apparatus and method for illuminating items of merchandise suspended in a peg-type display having an elongate beam with track that is secured to a terminal end of a bar
Apparatus and method illuminate items of merchandise displayed at a point-of-purchase, wherein the items are suspended from a peg having a distal end placed at a support structure, the peg projecting in a longitudinal direction from the support structure to a proximal end placed adjacent the point-of-purchase. An adjacent bar extends from the support structure to a terminal end adjacent the proximal end of the peg and carries a plate secured to the terminal end, with the terminal end of the bar and the plate spaced from the proximal end of the peg. An elongate beam is provided with a track extending in lateral directions along a rearward surface of the beam. The track is located for confronting the terminal end of the bar, and the plate is captured within the track at a selected lateral location along the beam, thereby locating the beam adjacent the terminal end of the bar, proximate the proximal end of the peg, and a light source is extended laterally along the beam, arranged to project illumination toward the items of merchandise displayed at the point-of-purchase.
SALES REGISTRATION APPARATUS
A sales registration apparatus comprises a main body that can be placed on or mounted to an upper surface of a checkout counter. A reader is housed in the main body between a first side surface and a second side surface to read information from a commodity positioned on a front side of the main body. A display section is attached to an upper end of the main body. A first supporting section is on the first side surface of the main body. A second supporting section is on the second side surface of the main body. A gap for wiring is formed between the first supporting section and the main body. Another gap for wiring is formed between the second supporting section and the main body.
SALES REGISTRATION APPARATUS
A sales registration apparatus includes a scanner to read information from a commodity, a main body section to be disposed on an upper surface of a checkout counter and housing the scanner, a display mount attached to an upper end of the main body section; and an arm section attached to a side surface of the main body section and including a shelf surface extending in a plane parallel to the upper surface of the checkout counter. In some examples a peripheral device can be disposed on the shelf surface. In certain examples, the scanner is a bar code scanner.
SALES REGISTRATION APPARATUS
A sales registration apparatus includes a commodity reader and a main body housing the reader. First attachment sections are distributed along a side surface of the main body at a fixed interval in the height direction. Each first attachment section is configured to permit the attachment of an additional component to the side surface. Each first attachment section is within a sub-portion of the side surface having a height that is a fixed unit height or an integer multiple of the fixed unit height. Cover sections are provided with each having a width equal to a width of the side surface and a height that is equal to the fixed unit height or an integer multiple of the fixed unit height. The cover section are attached to the side surface and cover any first attachment section not occupied by an additional component.
Monitor support apparatus for point-of-sale system
A support apparatus for holding a monitor is disclosed. The support apparatus can include an elongate arm pivotally connected to a support member and configured to couple to the monitor. The elongate arm can be pivotable within a range of motion between first and second mechanical stops, and can include a locking mechanism to lock the elongate arm into a selected pivoting position. The support member can extend between first and second side walls that define the mechanical stops. The support apparatus can include a mounting mechanism comprising receiving slots for securely holding the monitor. The mounting mechanism can allow the monitor to be mounted at various positions and orientations. The support apparatus allows the monitor to be positioned at various angles and heights, providing flexibility and customization in the placement of the monitor.
STORE DISPLAY FOR MOBILE COMPUTING DEVICES
A multi-purpose store display comprises a central section including a set of mobile computer charging cradles, each constructed and arranged to receive, position, and electrically charge a mobile computing device; a bag holder assembly at one or more sides of the central section that is constructed and arranged to hang a plurality of shopping bag; and an electrical system for providing a source of power to the mobile computer charging cradles.
BAG DISPENSER COVER
Systems and methods herein provide a bag dispenser cover for covering or concealing various types of bag dispensers. In some examples, the bag dispenser includes a body and an edge configured to cover the bag dispenser. The edge may be configured to fit in a gap located between the bag dispenser base and a counter component upon which the bag dispenser base is mounted, for example a rotating carousel. Bag dispenser covers may protect bags associated with a bag dispenser from unauthorized access or removal.
Checkout station with hanger hook
Described is a checkout station that includes a hanger hook coupled to a platform. The hanger hook is used to hang empty clothes hangers on, so the hangers can be collected and held in one location until they are re-used or disposed of. The hanger hook can be a U-shaped elongate member with a curved bottom piece, a first side, and a second side. The first side and the second side are each coupled to the bottom piece to form the U shape. The first side couples to the register stand, and hangers are hung from the second side. Having the hanger hook at the checkout station makes it easy for employees and customers to hang empty hangers on the hanger hook so the hangers are collected and do not end up on the floor or cluttering the work spaces of the checkout station.
CONVEYOR SAFETY SHIELD FOR POINT-OF-SALE SYSTEM
A point-of-sale system is provided including a conveyor that moves an item downstream and/or upstream, a shelf positioned above the conveyor, a defined zone below the shelf and a shield positioned between the conveyor and the shelf. The shield deters the item from moving to the defined zone when the conveyor is moving the item upstream. A method of conveying an item and methods of retrofitting a point-of-sale system are also provided.
Point of sale displays
