REGISTRATION SETTLEMENT APPARATUS
A registration settlement apparatus comprises a first determination module that determines a commodity in response to an operation by a first operator; a second determination module that determines a commodity in response to an operation by a second operator; a determination control module that controls the first and second determination modules to enable either the first or the second determination module, and enables the second determination module in response to an instruction from the second operator while the first determination module is enabled within a registration period for one transaction; a creation module that creates a list of commodities determined as objects of the transaction within the registration period by the first or the second determination module enabled; and a settlement module that calculates a settlement amount based on the list created and performs settlement processing on the settlement amount in response to an operation by the first operator.
REGISTRATION SETTLEMENT APPARATUS
A registration settlement apparatus comprises a first determining module configured to determine contents of a transaction in response to an operation by a first operator; a second determining module configured to determine contents of the transaction in response to an operation by a second operator facing the first operator across the registration settlement apparatus; a determination control module configured to enable one of the first and second determining modules, and to switch to the determining module enabled for the determination on contents of a transaction started thereafter in response to a button operation by the second operator before the determination on contents of one transaction is started; and a settlement module configured to perform a settlement processing of calculating a settlement amount based on the contents of the transaction determined by the determining module enabled, and settling the calculated settlement amount in response to an operation by the first operator.
Systems and methods for providing articulating point-of-sale apparatuses or devices
Embodiments of the disclosure can include systems and methods for providing articulating point-of-sale (POS) apparatuses or devices, such as displays. In one embodiment, an articulating point-of-sale (POS) display assembly may include a base and a movable arm attached to the base. The movable arm may be configured to move from a first position to a second position with respect to the base. The assembly may further include a pivotable display device attached to the movable arm. The pivotable display device may be configured to pivot from a third position to a fourth position with respect to the movable arm. The assembly may also include an arm joint attaching the movable arm to the base, and a pivot joint attaching the pivotable display device to the movable arm.
Registration area, loading area, and packing area of a checkout counter, a checkout counter and a method for operation of a roundtable packing area of a checkout counter
The present invention discloses a checkout counter which includes loading areas, registration area and packing comprising; a loading area, a registration area comprising means for parallel checkout and registration of purchased goods where the means at least comprises; a first registration zone, a second registration zone, and at least one registration means adapted to register goods from the first and the second registration zone, and a packing area configured to receive goods from two registration zones in parallel. It is also disclosed a method for operation of a checkout counter according to one embodiment of the invention.
SALES REGISTRATION APPARATUS
A sales registration apparatus comprises a main body that can be placed on or mounted to an upper surface of a checkout counter. A reader is housed in the main body between a first side surface and a second side surface to read information from a commodity positioned on a front side of the main body. A display section is attached to an upper end of the main body. A first supporting section is on the first side surface of the main body. A second supporting section is on the second side surface of the main body. A gap for wiring is formed between the first supporting section and the main body. Another gap for wiring is formed between the second supporting section and the main body.
IMAGING DEVICE AND OBJECT IMAGING APPARATUS
An imaging device includes a housing with a window on a front surface. A first irradiating section is in the housing at a first distance from the window to illuminate objects in a first region outside the housing with light directed through the window. A second irradiating section is in the housing at a second distance from the window to illuminate objects in a second region outside the housing with light directed through the window. The second region is closer to the housing than the first region. An imaging sensor is in the housing and configured to image objects illuminated by at least one of the first and second irradiating sections. The imaging sensor is closer to a back surface of the housing than the front surface.
SALES DATA PROCESSING APPARATUS
A sales-data processing apparatus comprises a main body section of a columnar shape. A reader is in the main body section and configured to read information for identifying a commodity in a sales transaction. An operator display is directed to an operator side of the main body section. A customer display, adjacent the operator display section, is directed to a customer side of the main body section. An input device is provided for receiving input operations related settlement processing from a customer on the customer side of the main body section. The input device is positioned adjacent to the customer display. A supporting section is attached to the main body section to support the input device at the position substantially adjacent to the customer display.
SALES REGISTRATION APPARATUS
A sales registration apparatus includes a reader to read information from a commodity and a main body on an upper surface of a checkout counter. The main body houses the reader and comprises a plurality of side surface regions distributed adjacently along a side surface in a height direction of the main body. A plurality of cover sections including panel surfaces having a planar dimension substantially matching a planar dimension of least one of the plurality of side surface regions. An attachment section in each of the plurality of side surface regions and configured to permit attachment of a corresponding cover section in the plurality of cover sections in a detachable manner. At least two of the side surface regions have the same size such that a cover section matching one of will also match the other of the at least two side surface regions.
Mounting system for industrial digital barcode reader
Scanning assemblies are disclosed herein. An example scanning assembly includes a slot scanner and a mounting system. The slot scanner includes an imaging assembly configured to capture an image frame appearing in a field of view (FOV) and a housing having a cavity configured to accommodate the imaging assembly. The mounting system includes a flange member at least partially surrounding an opening formed within the mounting system, and at least two support arms extending from the flange. The at least two support arms engage a portion of the housing of the slot scanner to retain the slot scanner within the opening formed by the flange.
Occluded item detection for vision-based self-checkouts
Item recognition of a given item is trained on a single item from different views. The item recognition is then trained on images of the given item partially occluded by a second item having same, similar, or different shapes and features to that of the given item. General features of the item are noted and used to detect the given item when the given item is presented with multiple different items having multiple different occluded views.
